Fantastic! This was the first time @ a house concert. Great experience, very intimate and interactive with Larry & Joe. Music was awesome - great mix of venezuelian, blue grass and Appalachian music.

Unique, talented and entertaining.

In an Intimate venue, a young crowd appreciated the music. Larry and Joe displayed draw-dropping virtuosity, with both instrumentals and vocals. They were both personable and really engaged with the audience.

Based on the way the concert was advertised, I was under the impression that Larry & Joe would perform with Charanga Carolina but this didn't occur and that was disappointing. Otherwise, Larry & Joe's set was entertaining and the duo's harmonizing was perfect. This duo perform as equal partners with Joe translating Larry's comments and jokes into English as well as Joe providing introductions to songs. This is the second time I've seen Larry & Joe live and I think the Fruit was a suitable venue for their music. I can't wait to see the duo again and another live music event at the Fruit.

Larry and Joe are amazing artists that are creating a new, fantastic genre. Nuevo Grass? Appa-Llanera? Folkazuelan? Whatever it is, it is CAPTIVATING. If you are reading this, GO SEE THEM.
