Amongst lairs was supporting theory of a deadman and their set was an amazing. Ian and the guys really went to town and set the stage for the main band. The energy they put into the set was top notch at one point Leo jumped into the crowd and kept playing. The whole set was amazing and I really recommend if you get a chance to go see them. After the main band played and everyone was leaving amongst liars were there at the merch stand talking to fans. You can tell they really care about the music and fans. They even auctioned one of the guitars back up guitars with the signatures of both band off with proceeds going to metal for good charity. Keep up the great work and hope to see you guys again soon

I adore Amongst Liars, they were supporting Aryon Jones, who were excellent, but I was there to see AL. They played an absolute blinder, such fire in the performance and songs that say something. Opened with Black Days, a powerful yet melodic rock anthem full energy and carried the same energy through Reign, Cut It, Over and Over, Burn The Vision, right to the very last note of their final song, Wolf Machine. Its not hard to see why their debut album was Album of the Month and they were Band of the Year with Great Music Stories Radio. Someone said of them, "expect big things" and I do. Absolutely brilliant!

A propos de amongst liars

amongst liars

Drawing influence from Royal Blood, Bring Me The Horizon and Queens of the Stone Age, AMONGST LIARS have developed a distinctive sound between alternative rock, hard rock and modern metal.

2026 marks a significant new chapter, with guitarist Leo Burdett stepping forward as AMONGST LIARS' lead vocalist. The change has brought renewed intensity and sharper creative focus, with the band's new identity and heavier direction.

Frontman, Leo say, "Our new music is about finding the strength to restart when things haven't gone your way. Whether it's relationships, mistakes, setbacks or life in general, it's a reminder that you can draw a line under it all, start fresh and give it another go if it's worth it.”

Known for their tight and uncompromising live performances, AMONGST LIARS have shared stages with Ayron Jones, Theory of a Deadman, Dead Posey and Juliet's Not Dead, building a reputation as a powerful and energetic live act.

Recent new music, Repair Myself, reignited their momentum, while 'Underneath The Surface' captures a band embracing change and pushing confidently into heavier territory.

“Amongst Liars deliver big tunes and harsh truths on striking self-titled debut.” - Kerrang!

“A pioneer of modern rock!” - Metal Hammer DE

“Full throttle, turbo-charged rock. Their debut album is riddled with gale-force stompers destined to unite crowds of raised fists.” - Classic Rock Magazine

“Amongst Liars could well be the next big thing! Energetic and furious, making the old influences sound new and relevant; this is polemical music for this generation, and not before time. The old is dead, long live the new. 10/10” - Musipedia of Metal
