Valerie Orth is a prolific alt-pop songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer with a strong, feminist sense of self. Integrating live instruments with electronic sounds, her Brooklyn-by-way-of-San Francisco-influenced music is unique and authentic.

Valerie’s most recent EP, Wake You, carries the upbeat production and warmth of Sylvan Esso, the unexpected rhythms and percussion of Tune-Yards, and the dark vocals and trippy-ness of Portishead. Popdust Magazine also compares Valerie’s “confident command” to St. Vincent.

Valerie’s often-metaphorical lyrics are as spell-binding, and are steeped with palpable images and her songs take you on a journey through relationships and obsessions. She's currently working on a full length album - her best yet - due out late 2019.

On stage, Valerie is a captivating performer, singing addictively and playing both electric guitar and Ableton’s Push controller to incorporate a range of synths and multiple vocal layers.
