Especially the melodic and emotive guitar solos, and Sandra’s dynamic vocals where in one moment it is quiet and vulnerable, while in the next can give you a severe “punch in the face”, are characteristics of “The Perfect Storm”, and the response from the audience. Sandmarx is a modern hard rock band, formed in Norway in the fall of 2009 by vocalist & keyboardist Sandra Szabo and guitarist Marcus Greenway only a year after Marcus started learning guitar because he admired Sandra and her music. They decided to start a band, and moved from east to the west, to the city of Bergen. The music can be similar to bands and artists like Shinedown, Slash, Avenged Sevenfold, and as many people have suggested, Sandmarx might sound like a modern Guns N’ Roses. After countless shows in different cities of Norway, a small tour in England where Sandmarx played in London and Birmingham, and support gigs for bands like L.A Guns and Audrey Horne, while regularly posting videos to Youtube, Sandmarx has gained fans from all over the world, and keep maintaining a stable and growing relationship with them. In 2012 Sandmarx released the EP "Fancy Cars and Fat Cigars" with songs like "Buy the World" and "Liar".
