Great gig and venue! The lute-playing was out of this world. Only minus was that the electric guitar was too loud compared to the rest of the band the sound could have been even better had that been fixed.

I had travelled to Nijmegen only to join the Funk Action and was completely flashed of their wholesome performance. I felt a bit lonely since the only female member of the band, co-vocalist Merve Daşdemir left and missed her voice. Garip which translates as ‘Strange’, is their most sophisticated and far-ranging thus far. It is a tribute to Anatolian folk bard Neşet Ertaş. He was a singer, lyricist and baglama virtuoso. Altın Gün vocalist, keyboard and baglama player Erdinç Eçevit, whose parents were from the same area of Turkey, grew up listening to Ertaş and included him also on the former albums. Enjoy the live show and the Anatolian Funk Festival.

The concert was way beyond what I expected such a killer live performance! Everyone on stage delivered and Erdinç lit up the whole stage what a performer!!

Show was perfect, however venue was impossible to find and qr code from the ticket did not work initially so we had to look for the counter to fix this

It was awesome! The whole audience was Dancing!

This show was so much fun! Loved the vibe in the back with the psychedelic lights. Altin G*n was phenomenal of course but also I got to check out some new bands too.

The performance was amazing. Sounds were magical and had me in a trance. -.5 for the crowd, lots of older men who just stood around, not even a head bop. Would love to see this band perform again.

Einfach nur fantastisch und die Stimmung in der Elbphilharmonie war (wo es ja generell sonst wohl eher brav zugeht 😀) bombastisch!!! Ein Erlebnis das für immer in meiner Erinnerung bleibt und die sehr lange Fahrt sich definitiv mehr als gelohnt hat….

the concert was incredible my wife and my daughter loved the weather was also perfect, the refreshment bar was also there to refresh us so for me it's a 10/10!!!
