There are at least two artists with this name:

1 - Jacinta is a portuguese jazz singer who already won several awards. She moved to New York in 1997 to study in the Manhattan School of Music where she got a scholarship fund for her master study in vocal jazz. She participated in workshops in New York with sounding names like Maria Schneider, Ed Neumeister, Mark Murphy, Dave Holland and Annie Ross. She carried on her studies of improvisation with Chris Rosenberg of the Ornette Coleman, and stylistic interpretation with Peter Eldridge of the New York Voices.



2 - An accomplished international singer/songwriter from Australia, Jacinta has now released her third single "Can't Keep It A Secret." Jacinta's performances of this new single at Winter Music Conference in March, found DJ Ron of AboutDanceMusic.com predicting that this uplifting song would be a summer Pride Anthem and one week after club airplay began, it was #1 on the Billboard Breakouts chart (basically the 'bubbling under') of the Billboard Hot Dance/Club Play chart before storming onto the chart with a bullet at #38 and is now in the # 10 position and climbing.

"Can't Keep It A Secret", co-written with the legendary Tony Moran and his production partner Warren Rigg, the single features awesome remixes from some of the world's most highly regarded producers.

Jacinta is quickly becoming one of the music industry's most versatile and sought after performers with two impressive Billboard Dance/Club Play chart hits, "Sunshine" and "Destination", and proclaimed high energy live performances. She is performing at events across the nation throughout the summer thrilling and showing folks that this girl can deliver it live as well.

Her forthcoming album Back To Go, features song co-written with Ray Roc & Dave Anthony, Mike Rizzo and Sanny X .

Jacinta's solo career has led her around the world and given her the opportunity to work with internationally respected musicians including Tony Bennett, Cake, Leo Sayer, David Gates of Bread, and Take That and Cirque Du Soleil.
