A propos de Trinket
After much web searching, I suspect that the band Trinket will go down in history as the band most flamed, panned and canned EVER, in the history of music. Really! Even worse than Milli Vanilli! For one of the funniest, see this review from the University of Michigan:
http://www.pub.umich.edu/daily/1999/feb/02-02-99/arts/arts8.html
Never one to particularly care about reviews, though, I think that the album "Set to Explode" may well be the soundtrack to that '80s movie you used to love and can't quite name... and I also have their so-called 'crapulous' self-titled album which has one pop stunner on it called, simply BOOM. It has stuck in my head since I got a free track at MP3.com in 1990-something.
What I can find out about them is that their self-titled album was produced by Michael Stipe of R.E.M. and Wikipedia says that Trinket changed their name to The Datsuns, although I can't be sure if it's the same band!
Sorry for the crappy artist description! But I had to honor one of the most dishonored bands on the planet. :)
