A propos de Bullet Train Blast

BULLET TRAIN BLAST has for years been one of the most promising rock bands in Denmark. After a great line of Danish rock successes like D-A-D, Volbeat, BULLET TRAIN BLAST is now ready to conquer the European audience with their new album “Nothing Remains”, which has been praised by the Danish critics. The band made its debut in 2009 with the Tommy Hansen produced album “Second Chance” and in 2010 BULLET TRAIN BLAST created the EP “Waste of Time”, from which the song “Give it a Try” was used by the national TVchannel TV2 during the World Cup Finals 2010. BULLET TRAIN BLAST has gained a solid reputation for their live performances at various festivals as support to e.g. Pretty Maids and Black Stone Cherry, not to mention something as different as a tour on Greenland. BULLET TRAIN BLAST is now ready to match all expectations with the band’s second album titled “Nothing Remains” which will be released in Europe June 11 th 2012 via Target Records. The album has been made in close collaboration with producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Pretty Maids, Mercenary e.g.). “To record our album with Jacob Hansen was spot-on” says guitarist Niels Hyttel. “He saw us in a certain way – and when he showed us the picture he saw – we actually fell in love with ourselves to put it mildly. When you enter a studio, you always have an idea of what the result will be – but sometimes you will be surprised. I brought along my advanced guitar amps – and ended up using my old unreliable Marshall on the entire disc. The smart modern sound had no place in this universe – Jacob Hansen thought – and rightly so.” While their first record had more in common with bands like Guns N Roses, BULLET TRAIN BLAST has now found their own sound by putting the many guitar figures and choir vocals in the background. The focus has been to simplify the numbers, get into the core and deliver it convincingly! The band has changed and found itself in the process. What remains is a very strong rock expression that works equally well on the small scenes as well as the big stadiums. Bullet Train Blast’s rock hymns speak a universal language! With “Nothing Remains” Bullet Train Blast delivers a modern hard rock album with classic roots. The Danish press has said about “Nothing Remains”: “…intense hard rock that is both pulling pegs out and kicking ass.” Heavymetal.dk – 8 out of 10 ”Energetic, powerful and fresh killer rock with big Danish balls of dynamite that explodes in the ear canals” Powerofmetal.dk – 91 out of 100 “The album sparkles with energy and joy of playing while the songs are well crafted and not stingy on gunpowder.” Callesrockcorner.dk – 5½ out of 6 Metalized – 8 out of 10 stars, BT – 4 out of 6 stars, Gaffa.dk – 4 out of 6 stars, Revolution-music.dk – 4½ ud af 6, Århus Stiftstidende – 4 ud af 6 etc Danish hard rock anno 2017.
