SAMSARA: The Montreal Alternative Rock Revolution
Born on the vibrant Plateau Mont-Royal in 1996, SAMSARA is a force to be reckoned with in the world of alternative rock. Led by singer-songwriter Todd Pronovost, this powerhouse quartet combines the raw energy of post-punk and goth-inspired modern rock to create a sound that's both haunting and exhilarating. Guitarist and producer Jean-Francois Mace brings his signature sound to the table, forged with the help of Orange Amplifiers - the same used by legendary axemen Toni Iommi and Jimmy Page. Mike Angerillo's thunderous drums evoke the spirit of John Bonham, while Big Sylvain Coallier's versatile bass playing and session guitar skills add depth and complexity to the band's sound. But SAMSARA's music is more than just a sonic assault - it's a call to arms. Todd's thought-provoking lyrics tackle the toughest topics, from politics and social justice to personal struggles and triumphs. This is music that challenges, inspires, and enriches. With their unique blend of darkness and light, SAMSARA is the perfect antidote to the mundane. Join the revolution and experience the raw power and emotional depth of this Montreal alternative rock phenomenon.
