In sleepy middle England between industrial estates, tribute bands and school orchestras, Cameron Yazdi (23, guitar & vocals) & Darrell Mayo (23, Drums) started something else - The Sunlight Machine. Meeting in secondary school their friendship revolved around music and skateboarding.
Influences such as Manchester Orchestra, Biff Clyro, The Black Keys and The Arctic Monkeys find their way into the bands unique sound along with many others. The philosophy behind The Sunlight Machine has been to create songs that are lyrically meaningful, creative, powerful and full of energy.
