FM Waves is an Alternative/Punk band out of Nazareth, PA that is made up of Kyle Werner(Vocals/Guitar), Nate West(Drums), Tyler Kern(Bass), and Nick Wilson(Lead Guitar). Their influences include: Alkaline Trio, Blink 182, The Dangerous Summer, Sum 41, Set Your Goals, and many others. They are currently playing shows in the tri-state area and have played with bands such as The Dangerous Summer, Sparks the Rescue, and The Scenic. The band was originally started by Kyle and Nate playing cover songs for a few months. They had quickly realized that playing cover songs was just getting old and putting together a band and writing original songs was the path they wanted to take. Tyler Kern, a friend of Kyle's was asked to join and play bass for the band. This addition completed the trio of the band. After a few rehearsals and some early song recordings they decided to start playing some local shows. Name choice was complicated for a few months because no one could agree on a name. Finally the name FM Waves was chosen. Our album, From Small Beginnings, will be available everywhere very soon !
