A propos de Robert Henke

Robert Henke is better known as the producer behind Monolake, one of the leading dub-techno pioneers of the past decade. Though it's a little-known fact that Henke began his recording career as a serious academic composer, with such experimental releases as 1995s Piercing Music and 1997s Floating.Point, in recent years he has returned increasingly to his given name as a venue for these more classical and academic interpretations of electronic music. Certainly, 2004s Signal to Noise was a welcome return to form that alluded to inspirations from early Klaus Schulze to Francois Bayle in its dissonant reconstruction of white noise, computer excess, and droning radio waves.
