A propos de Mia Aegerter
Mia (Myriam) Aegerter (born 9 October 1976 in Fribourg) is a Swiss pop singer and actor. She grew up in a musical family, her mother being a guitar teacher and her father a drummer for a band. She became excited about music herself, playing guitar in her childhood and writing her own songs. After she received her matura she moved to Munich, where she studied acting, singing, and dancing at a music academy.
In 1998 she won an imitation contest on the program "Lass Dich überraschen" (moderated by Rudi Carell) by mimicking Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn". She also danced in the music video for Liquido's song "Doubledecker".
She became famous for starring in Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten, playing the role of Xenia di Montalban from the summer of 2000 until March 2003, when she left due to tuberculosis. In 2003 her song "Hie u jetzt" won her the "Newcomer 2003" award at the Prix Walo, and on 1 April 2004 the VIVA Comet.
