White Raven Down despite Lead Singer Stu Bailey suffering a cold blew the roof off with their ‘Heavy Riffs’. Mixture of new and old material, as a band they never fail to entertain. The venue was full and I know personally (some people said it to me) that they garnered new fans who had not seen them before. King Kraken were great supporting with their Heavy Rock sound. And well appreciated by all in attendance. Definitely a band to track. The Grey Fox Experience. My first time with these guys. Absolutely brilliant. Sounds like old school Prog Rock. And we’ll worth catching live if you see them listed locally. Circus 66. Great opening act. Started the night off as it should. Great music from the first Chords and Vocals. Another good band to check out if you have the opportunity. A great overall Gig. All four bands created a crescendo of brilliance, with White Raven Down put the Cherry on top at the end of the night.

WRD always give their all. Both in their performance and in connecting with the audience, before, during and after the show. They embody the Band/Fan connection in an exemplary way. There is no egos here. The band appreciate their following. They play the songs people want to hear, thee sing alongs/ sing backs work because as they acknowledge the respect in both directions is mutual. The band and their followers are an organic experience. Both sides feed off each other in a wonderful night out out. An experience not to be missed, if you go once there’s a good chance you’ll be going again at some point in the future.

Top band. Excellent set in a great smaller venue. Always leaves everything on stage.

Not the first time I have seen this Band, but in my opinion their best performance to date. The guys have been busy since lockdown was lifted and the release of their much anticipated Debut album "Don't Shoot The Messenger" has seen them reach another level. The Band grinds out high energy Rock/Metal, with a fierce energy but save room for melodic passages to create breathing space amid the ferocity of their unique delivery. Check out the Band's website for tour info and check out the Album, you won't regret it. As for the rest of the bill from Friday night. Fyresky put on their usual energetic performance. I say usual, this was only the 2nd time I have seen them but won't be the last. Finally Dirty Donations, who opened the show put on a very gritty performance and completed the trio of local Bands. A great night at a legendary venue.
