A propos de Pandamic

From a family shed in Rockhampton to the festival stages of Groovin’ the Moo and the Big Pineapple Festival, Pandamic have certainly come a long way from their humble beginnings playing house parties and busking on street corners in the hope of making a few extra coins. Composed of Rhys Adams (Vocals/Guitar), Rangi Barnes (Drums) and recently joined by Matt Cochran (Bass/Backing Vocals), the band already have the blistering Scumbag EP and their crowd-anthem filled second EP Archer under their belts.

Now firing on all cylinders again and fresh off supporting DZ Deathrays and The Garden, Pandamic are currently gearing up for their next release that takes the trio’s sound in a new direction, but which still remains true to their raucous punk rock roots. They hope to continue bringing their rowdy live shows all across Australia for years to come, so if you’re always fixing for a good time, keep an ear and eye out for when they come play somewhere near you!

"Likable scallywags: check / Heaving guitar crunch: check / A chorus that ascends to higher plains: check and then some." - Triple J

"With energy and vibrancy cut from the same cloth as the likes of Tired Lion, The Gooch Palms, Dune Rats and DZ, Pandamic’s “SAM” is exemplary of wavy party nights, the recovery the next day and getting stuck back into it all over again." - The AU Review

"There’s not too much to say apart from it’s a great song; it’s like being in a warm bath of melancholy smiles. The production really compliments it however; providing an airy retort to the more aggressive instrumentation." - Bittersweet Symphonies

"With gang vocals to reiterate this, and punchy guitars to drive it, Pandamic have an edge that can’t be mistaken. The build up of the song might grip you at first, but by the end of it you could find yourself yelling along to the lyrics." - Turn Up The Amplifier
