Apprentice was born in the spring of 2011 in Calgary by founder Joey Hockin. After years of trying to get Apprentice off the ground Joey moved to Vancouver in September of 2014 to begin searching for musicians there. The lineup was quickly assembled with Chris Lock on drums, Gerald Leong on bass, Cody Henderson on Vocals and Kevin Zecchel on guitar. After playing their first show in April of 2015 they have had the opportunity of sharing the stage with Melo-Death phenoms Kalmah as well as City Of Fire, Into Eternity, Kobra and the Lotus and dozens of other awesome bands. After a few line up changes over the course of several months, Apprentice has solidified its current line up with guitarist Dylan Wijdenes-Charles, Drummer Kyle Summers and Bassist Jon Power. Their first EP "Order 66" was released in August and work has begun on their full length album, slated to be released in the first half of 2017.
