A propos de Kevin Heinen

Deep Dive Culture started out as a singer/songwriter project of Kevin Heinen, who started playing music at the age of 15 years. Kev already played on big stages all alone here in Luxembourg, like the Fete de la Musique or Rock de Schleek, before Alessandro Sorbelli (Drums) and Benny Remiche (Bass) joined him in 2015, followed by Jeff Muller (Guitars) in 2016 to blend with Kevin's eclectic music style and formed KHB. (short for Kevin Heinen Band) Together, released their first EP "Cities and Lights" in March 2016 at the Gudde Wellen, followed by slots on big festivals such as the FDLM or Rock Um Knuedler. In June 2017, the band lost two of their founding members: Benny Remiche and Jeff Muller. It was then that Kevin decided not to give up the project, because he fell in love with sharing his stories through his songs on stage. So initially with their old drummer, he changed the name of the band to Deep Dive Culture, a hint to their songs having a deep meaning and being a dive into their culturous yet dark thoughts, and began looking for new bandmembers. Unfortunately, Lalo left the band short after they found their new bandmates Tom Schmit, a virtuoso bass player, and Joakim Rinne, a guitarplayer with a huge amount of band experience from previous bands like Velvet Vertigo or Feet. Eventually they found their new drummer as well: a prodigy named Tom Zuang. Their sound is mainly influenced by acts like the Goo Goo Dolls, Damien Rice, or even Jimi Hendrix and Gary Moore, and with these influences, they create their approach to indie-folk and alternative rock Deep Dive Culture is now back, ready to perform the emotional and heartfelt ballads and the energetic powersongs that gave them national attention under their old name, as well as some new songs on stage! This is just the beginning of DDC. So take the deep dive into our thoughts and witness our mind oceans. Indie-Folk and Alternative Rock from Luxembourg. Heartfelt and emotional music, and upbeat powersongs since 2013. First EP "Cities and Lights" out now!
