LA native Cassandra Violet's transcendent indie pop blends infectious hooks, loops and layered vocals into a candy-colored girl-group confection, a la Lily Allen meets the Supremes. Already a SoCal favorite, her unique sounds have been featured at School Night at Bardot, the Moroccan Lounge, the Echo, the Bootleg, Resident, and the Regent Theater, with press in LA Weekly, Buzzbands LA and Glide. Her songs have been placed on Ozark (Netflix), The Mindy Project (Hulu), The Fosters (ABC Family), and films including Girl on the Edge, featured on Showtime. Cassandra writes songs from a modern woman’s perspective about strength, solitude, love and disappointment, sung in sassy three part harmony.
