> How did I get where am I now?

> My fascination with vinyl started at the age of 13. By
15, I had my DJ set up and began throwing parties, high school dances & weddings. Two years later, the #1 nightclub recruited me at the time in San Juan, Neons Videotech. It was a dream comes true. The format included New Wave, Progressive, Industrial, Rock, and Dance. My shift started at 7 pm and didn't end till 5 am… I'm sure some labor laws were broken..LOL, but that's how we worked those days.

> In 89, I moved to Florida. In between fraternity parties and private events, I transitioned to radio and clubs. My first radio gig was a Latin mix show in Orlando. Other local mix shows followed, Mega 98.1 FM and 95.3 Party, and MD/APD positions primarily with Latin radio. During that time, Promo Only decided to develop a Latin Series, and by association (good friends with both Pete and Jim, I was fortunate to join the company. Promo Only broadens many opportunities for me, from Director of Programming at XM Latin Channels to Resident DJ for more than 17 years at Universal Studios City Walk. All the while, I've been able to channel my passion for Dance music towards developing and producing a syndicated EDM (Electronic Dance Music) mix show (Passport 2 Dance) that has been broadcasted in satellite radio (BPM) as well as several stations from Miami to DC and Puerto Rico.

> What am I up to these days?

> I'm still going strong doing what I love: programming music, breaking the hits and spinning live. I keep busy with Promo Only, a DJ residency in Orlando, and two syndicated mix shows. The Latin radio MixShows can be streamed through iHeart Radio App by tuning to Rumba 100.3 (Orlando) Rumba 106.5 (Tampa) Rumba 106.9 (Jacksonville) or La Nueva 87.7 Washington, DC These days I split the time between home and travel. My family life is very important to me. I'm super proud of my son graduating with honors and heading out to college. I still have a teenage girl at home, whom I suppose will keep me on high alert for a few years… LOL
