Blind Revision is an alternative rock band whose music features catchy pop hooks alongside post-hardcore breakdowns and shred-filled guitar passages. With influences ranging from Paramore and The Pretty Reckless to Scale the Summit and Coheed & Cambria, the quintet tries to experiment while maintaining an accessible baseline.
In 2013, Blind Revision won first place in Bridging the Music's Boston competition. In September 2014, the band had the privilege of opening for nationally touring acts Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Hawthorne Heights. The band also played at Providence’s Goddesses of Rock festival in 2015 and opened for the metal band Revocation at the Providence Tattoo and Metal Fest in early 2016.
In August 2015, Blind Revision released their debut EP, Fight or Flight. Songs from the EP are in regular rotation on 94.1 HJY, Providence's rock radio station. The EP has also gained favorable reviews from DeadShotZine.com, ShoutitLoudReviews.com and Soundscape Magazine. The band has also been featured in Surreal Beauty Magazine and the Warwick Beacon. Jen Janet (vocals/keys) has also been interviewed by Goldenmixtape.com.
