Without doupt, i visited 10 Shows in 2023+2024 THIS ONE WAS BIG! The best show ever ever ever. We had so much fun like never bevor and we will come again even if AKON visit us every month. We will be there no doupt. Akon ist a motherfxxxing genius. He have the fans in the palm of his hands and we LOVED it!!! Such an Amazing aritst. I would give him 20 Stars not 5

He used playback instead of singing most of the time and the sound engineer sucked but I did have a lot of fun and the crowd was really hyped and he also worked alot with the crowd so even if I couldn't hear and understand (cause it was loud and overbassed) what he was saying sometimes it was..well not amazing but it was really fun and he played all the hits.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, United States but grew up in Dakar, Senegal and at the age of seven he moved to the USA, settling in Jersey City, New Jersey. He is the son of jazz percussionist Mor Thiam and is fluent in his native language of Wolof as well as English.
