KiEw

KiEw are three experimental music performance artists from Lüneburg that have not only released numerous recordings in all imaginable formats, but have also played on countless club and festival stages around the world in their over 30-year band history. What is striking about KiEw is the rhythm that always goes straight to the dance floor, where standing still is rarely impossible. KiEw not only serves one music genre, but also playfully breaks through the boundaries of techno, breakcore, noise and punk. Not only musically, but also thematically, normality and madness is redefined in the course of the performance and presented with the wink typical of KiEw.

KiEw is extremely danceable, the boundaries of industrial, techno and (electro) punk are easily crossed here. Live, sometimes rhythmically catchy, sometimes wonderfully bulky, even demanding, the result is exciting for head and body.
The good form of a concert by the Lüneburg trio includes opulent avant-garde noise sculptures and extensive vocal performances, while pounding beats blow through the auditory canals and finely regulated sound structures gently ensnare the convolutions of the brain.
