Walter Giardino's Temple

Walter Giardino is considered the number one guitar player in Latin America as well as one of the best guitarist around the world whose masterful ability in the production and composing of music made him a rock icon in the Hispanic speaking countries. The guitar player and composer was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When he was only 10 years old his parents gave him his first guitar and only two years after that he started his first band. Driven by his strong vocation and personality he quickly stood out during his teenage years in the local scene around the clubs in his neighbourhood. In the 80s, Walter generates strong influence in the argentine metal scene and people starts to talk about a different guitarist, who surprised everyone with his technique and intensity. Moreover, at the beginning of the 80s, he started a hard rock band, where he was both singer and guitarist, which is why he managed to stand out in the heavy metal argentine scene. Because of his first record he became a guitar legend as well as the composer and leader of Rata Blanca, a band which changed the history of Hispanic rock. After two years in the music industry and millions of records sold, Walter managed to achieve prestige and recognition around the whole world, followed by thousands of fans in Latin America, United States and Europe. What is more, he has shared time on stage with great bands such as: Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, ACDC, Kiss, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden to name a few. Nowadays Walter takes turns playing in two bands on, Rata Blanca and his other project called Temple in which he has more artistic freedom and shows he is a musician who is able to transcend any type of musical genre. Throughout his life, Walter has achieved excellence in his composing and this turned out in an amazing acceptance around the world. This has led him to perform along with rock legends such as: Glenn Hughes, Tarja Turunen, Doogie White, Graham Bonnet y Joe Lynn Turner; who come along with him on his tours with Temple. Walter is guitar legend, his bases and influences, rich in variety altogether with his peculiar impression result in cultural masterpiece compositions that will leave a mark forever in the history of music around the world as an authentic guitar god.
