We're from NC but my wife and I already had plans to take the train to Philly that weekend for another engagement. I learned about two weeks ahead that Easy Star All Stars were going to to play Dub Side, the only planned full performance this year, in King of Prussia. I convinced my wife that it would be worth the effort to get there, about 20 miles from where we were staying in the heart of Philly, and I was right. We both loved the show! Their reggae take on Dark Side is spectacular, and to see them perform it live was quite special. They are an awesome group of musicians who clearly love what they do.
I'm checking daily, waiting for them to announce more dates in hopes of seeing them again, maybe closer to home (Carrboro? Raleigh? Greensboro?) and experiencing the full Ziggy Stardub performance. **crosses fingers and toes**
