It was so great to see Death Angel, 35 years after the first time I saw them in Allentown. We brought a few friends and my son. They were fantastic. They really had a great energy, really made it a great time.
Modest Mouse was amazing! Excellent performance. First time ever seeing them, and it won’t be the last.
Archer Theatre. Mix of very good and some bad. Nice new venue. 4 bars. Clean bathrooms.
Big time bad was their hvac system. It’s either undersized or management is trying to save money. It got sweltering hot in the place by midway through the show. You know it’s bad when the lead singer says to the crowd “is it hot in here?”. Leaving the place, the floors/steps were dripping wet from the excessive humidity. The place is fortunate someone didn’t slip or they’d have a lawsuit on their hands. Smarten up Archer. You could have a nice venue.
i was at the concert tonight my uncle and I and his kids drove to the concert from Maryland to Philadelphia so what happened was we originally bought tickets to for the may 24th concert on accident via Virginia instead of Philadelphia but not to mention ticketmaster has a nonrefundable refund ticket policy but I'm grateful for security letting us through even knowing it was 21+ venue and it was sold out i'm glad i got to see it I also think cooper was having mic issues earlier but i've also been struggling with depression because my personal relationship with my previous girlfriend I'm grateful we didn't have to go home plus this was my first citizen soldier concert I also have autism
But I'm Grateful For Security Letting Us In Thanks Again
Show was fanominal!! Hopefully next year he will come back. First time ever seeing him concert!! Would love to see also is Savannah Dextor / Anthony Beastmode / Brabo Gator at the same place. The Archer in Allentown Pa.
Amazing show! Atlas and Ov Sulfur were amazing openers and Orbit Culture completely killed it! Second time seeing Orbit Culture live and let me tell you, they don't disappoint! It was my first time at Arrow, and I really loved the venue! All around an amazing show and the energy was pretty damn awesome for a Monday night!
The Set It Off concert was fantastic! Nonstop from start to finish. Set it Off is such a great band live. All their songs resonate. Fame on Fire, Vana and Autumn Kings were GREAT too! Such a good tour! It’s a must see and it will see them whenever they are in town
This is a band that is so much better in person than their recordings which is rare to find! The energy was amazing and they truly put on a show. They are so much better than an opener band and I'm excited to see what the future holds for them. I absolutely will be going to see them again!
Phantogram was truly amazing! The intimate experience was super cool and would definitely pay to do it again. Archer Hall is fairly new, so it came with an appealing esthetic from the moment you walked through the doors. I hope more shows come to this venue instead of Philly.
The darkness has been one of my top favorite bands for over 20 years now. I'm not sure why but I just never thought I would see them in person. Not only because my husband and I are perpetually broke but because they are one of the best. When they came out they were so different from everything else that was out there. The lyrics could be heartbreaking, funny, and so relatable. They were exactly what I needed. I listen to them all the time. My husband surprised me with tickets to see them. We were in the front row and I couldn't believe I was seeing the coolest bass player and 2 of my most favorite guitarists and such a f*****g badass drummer. Well we were outside hoping to get a glimpse of them coming out and all of them were so kind and patient. Just the best musicians and band ever. The show itself was fantastic. Justin was so funny and he really seemed to enjoy himself. Dan was so fantastic and played so f*****g perfectly. Rufus's singing blew me away same with his drumming. Franky was perfect, so chill and his voice was fantastic. It's hard to not write a novel. I have so much more to say. I'm just so thankful for people like them being out there. Best night ever
Great mix, good variety of AiC songs and his solo works, okay-ish crowd. I like Archer so the venue is really nice. I was near the front of the bar, in front of Jerry himself, and he clearly enjoyed being there. Made some small talk about the Eagles and I nearly went deaf just from the screams and yelling. Man in the Box alone nearly made me deaf!
Fantastic show! Only the 2nd time I had seen the Descendents LIVE, and the first time was at Jones Beach, NY as an opener for Sublime with Rome. That show was solid, but I’m so glad I saw them as a headliner this time. One of my all time favorite bands. Their vocal harmonies were spot on! Old dudes still got it. So much energy, absolutely rocked. Venue was clean, easy to get to. Best Allentown venue hands down. Sure beats the ol’ days of crocodile rock cafe - dump!
Awesome show. Very different from the show I saw a few months ago (which was also very good).
Shorty added new members to the band who brought new dimensions to his high energy set. The band was tight and funky as usual. Shorty is not only a fantastic musician, but a great showman who works hard to get the audience involved.
Absolutely great show! Dumstaphunk was a solid opening act. But when Shorty and his band came out they blew the roof off the place. Incredibly high energy performance! He had everything dancing for his entire set. He was also very engaged with the audience. It was one of the best shows that I’ve seen in years! 10/10. Would highly recommend catching one of his shows.
GWAR killed it as always. Best live show out there, by far. The crowd was also great, with lots of energy all night. I thought it would've settled down a little after GWAR played, but i was wrong lol.
Static-x put on an awesome show. The last time i saw them was 25 years ago. I was skeptical with the rebooted version, but they did great.
And last, but not least, the Archer Music Hall. I will definitely go to another show at this place. The staff was all very friendly, and always had a smile on their face. A lot of venues have miserable bar tenders & bouncers that seem to just not enjoy life. Not these people. Even the bouncers that were catching crowd surfers all night were pretty chill. They usually get sick of me lol.
Had a great time. The venue was awesome! It wasn't too crowded, and parking was easy to find. The venue was very close, walking wise to restaurants and bars, so it made the time before fly by.
Venue was newer and was a great place to see a show. Silverstein, Real Friends, Broadside, and Greyhaven all put on an amazing show. Great energy from all the bands, really got the crowd going. Amazing show!
Awesome time! Every band was good and Motionless was amazing! The venue was quite large and handled entry well for a sold out show. Little movement until Motionless went up but when they did the crowd just kept going. Awesome experience. Highly recommend seeing the band live and visiting this venue for potential shows!
Truly the best band I’ve ever seen! (And I’ve been to a lot of concerts). They blow their albums out of the water! Just so amazing live and fantastic stage presence !! I can’t wait to see them again
The best concert I have been too in a really long time. Love how close they were instead of a big arena! The energy from everyone made everything 10x better! I hope they come back or come somewhere that is closer to Baltimore!
Was walking around Allentown when I didn’t realize there was a concert going on. I saw Cavalera was there and didn’t even know the two brothers had another band after Sepultura and Soulfly. I went inside in the middle of Necrot’s set and I have to say this was by far the best death metal band I’ve seen and heard. Amazing sound and very talented guys. I started listening to them after the concert and they are definitely slept on. Don’t miss out!!
