Big Wreck was good, first time seeing them and they rocked!
Wolf and the gang, you get so much better each time I see you and you were great the first time, and I think this was #5.
The new screen was worth the wait from the postponed show from November! I will always come see you Mammoth!
It was my first inside The Astro, the staff was wonderful (have been outside at least twice)! Ticket scanners helped direct me straight to my seat with instructions, bartenders very friendly, and the seat usher made sure I was in the right place. Thank you all involved! Best Seat in the house was Section 202 Row A, but I might try to stand next to the stage for my next show inside. Such a great intimate venue!
As December Falls was phenomenal! They started the concert with high energy and got the crowd involved quickly. I've been a fan of theirs for a couple of years and was very excited to see them make it to the US and was more than worth the hours of driving to get there. Their sound and performance was on point. Overall, better than I had hoped for and I was so glad that I finally got to see them live.
It was my first time seeing RCS and I was blown away and am in total love with their vibe and the energy they bring to the stage, I was fortunate to get a drumstick that night from the drummer and it made it so special to me. I’m so very proud to have seen these amazing men perform!
Macy was amazing, seeing her live was a dream come true. Her performance was stunning from beginning to end, she commands the stage and knows how to get the audience involved. The only issue was the venue did not do a good job promoting the show, there were a lot of open seats. But Macy played right through that and gave the fans that showed up a night they won’t forget
I have seen Dawes many times. Hands down one of the great bands with talent and musicianship. This particular night they pushed too many unknown songs onto the crowd. Not many of the Avett Brothers fans knew of them, so it was their time to share some of their great songs. Didn't do it. Unfortunate, because I looked very forward to them on this particular evening.
The Astro outside amphitheater is not my favorite venue I’ve been: incredibly crammed together seats especially for as hot as it was that day. Loved the openers and getting to go to my first concert with my dad. My parents have been to quite a few BNL concerts so it was a lot of fun to go with them and my sister!
I had seen Samantha Fish 11 years ago and she is still a very talented performer on both guitar and vocals but missed the less blues oriented than earlier. Kingfish is the real deal so fluid and powerful on the guitar with great a voice too.. I was pleased he did the late great Michael Burks song “Empty Promises “ that I had seen MB do years ago. It was wonderful that Kingfish went into the crowd to get them more involved. Kingfish was on my bucket list for top blues guitarists and was not disappointed. 10
Warrent bullet boys and stretch were extremely appreciative of our countries active retired and veterans. As a veteran I was impressed with their commitment and dedication in supporting them. Oh yeah the concert fricking rocked. Having never heard of stretch I was extremely impressed with their stage presence. Made their portion of the concert experience extremely memorable and fun, they were amazing and lively. Next time I’m in Kansas City I plan on visiting his restaurant. I got a guitar pick from Warrent and stretch but not the bullet boys. I’ve rocked the bullet boys for as long as I can remember and wished I got one of their picks but not complaining.
Kublai Khan was the pinnacle of the show, the energy, stage presence, everything made it one of the most fun concerts I’ve ever been to. My neck and legs still hurt from the head banging and the jumping from their set. 10/10 performance. Anytime they’re around I’m never going to miss a show of theirs.
Although I've been a longtime fan of Stellar Kart and Adam Agee, I wasn't sure what to expect from Newsboys latest line-up, but from beginning to the final song, they knocked it out of the park. Their song choices were surprising, yet fun and exciting and I walked away thrilled by the experience. Can't wait to see them again!
I love a smaller venue to watch my favorite bands and the Astro Amphitheater was perfect. Crowded House put on a good show but I don’t know any of their new music so I was a little disappointed that they barely played any of their old stuff. They played some Split Enz music which was good too. Overall, I had fun and my not knowing their new music is on me.
Dogstar was great, as well as the opening band, Sons of Silver. I liked the venue other than the floor seating. They were folding chairs crammed so close together that you could barely move! The rows were less than probably 12" apart. Also, the older ladies checking tickets at the front door were less than friendly. The venue itself is beautiful but they could maybe work on those two issues.
Perry’s voice being what it is, this was such a great show. The musicianship was world class! Lost a half star because Perry couldn’t stop talking down to the Omaha crowd. It was, how the kids say, very cringe. Pete, Mike, and Steven couldn’t have made me any happier. Thanks guys!
This was our first time at the Astro in Omaha Nebraska. The show started with a band we had never seen or heard of from our home state of New York called,” too many zooz” They were INCREDIBLE WOW ! They got the crowd started and worked up ,while they proceeded to jump around and dance in pink shorts and pink jape to match, all the while playing heavy instruments. Then my favorite band COHEED AND CAMBRIA came on. Despite the intense heat they gave us a set that was crazy good full of great music, and tons of hair flips and foot stomping. Love them !
Primus didn’t disappoint either. While the people came to see them they gave us what we expected and wanted rounding out an amazing show well worth the price on a hot Nebraska night.
Great show! Good to see Mike in good health and doing what he loves. Anytime I can catch SD live is a good time. Was really impressed with The Astro venue, not a bad seat in the house. Julian’s band Love Crime blew me away and looking forward to more music from them! The whole thing was worth the drive from Wichita Ks to Omaha!
Veil of Maya has some great songs however some of them don’t transition to the live setting so well. I was well positioned and some of the tracks (Tokyo Chainsaw) lost the depth in the album versions as the guitar parts were not audible beyond the djenting. However the singer pulled off both the distorted and clean vocals very well and some of the songs were soaring especially near the end. As a first time listener of both bands, Nothing More had the crowd singing along and a compelling frontman but I found Wage War to draw me in more as they had some very intense parts perfect for headbanging at a live show.
Hellacious show!!! What a musical journey! My eyes and ears were on overload all night! THE BEST MONEY I’VE SPENT AND GOT WAY MORE THAN I PAID FOR!!! A huuuuuuggggge THANK YOU TO STEVE, JOE, THEIR BANDS (STELLAR MUSICIANS) and the OUTSTANDING CREWS who made it all happen ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Kudos to The Astro and their staff (indoors & outdoors) for bringing two of the GREATEST TO PICK UP A GUITAR and AWESOME customer service!!! A big THANK YOU LaVista Police Department for keeping everyone safe and moving the traffic flawlessly!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR A REAL GOOD TIME!!! Positive Vibrations…
It was amazing as always. Great venue to house that southern rock machine known as 38 Special. These guys deliver night after night. From the first note the crowd was on their feet singing along to the hits. And when the smoke had cleared and the last note played. The crowd was still standing and wanting more.
Johnny and the gang took us ‘90s kids back in time with a well-performed show of old hits as well as helped up appreciate their newer songs by rocking them live with passion. I greatly enjoyed the show, and my kids now have a new-found appreciation for the Goo Goo Dolls.
Fitz and the Tantrums are always fun, and we are glad we traveled to Camdenton to see them as the opener instead of O.A.R. who opened for Goo back in our hometown of KC.
Loved the show!!! They were so awesome and sounded superb!!! Energetic and crowd talking. Loved it! They were so awesome and having fun. Will defiantly see them again and get all their music!!!
Venue not so much. I know it’s new but with the crowd standing and enjoying it the entire time the stage was not visible. The seats were too flat on the sod with no elevation for the rows to see ahead to the stage. The chairs were not sturdy either. Crammed to close together. Just wish I could have really seen them perform!
