Midnight North never disappoints! Always a great show! Lark Hall was really cool, love the old venues. Great music, good crowd and a historic venue - perfect mix for a great evening!

First of all, Lark Hall is a great place for a show. My first venture there was for the skeleton Crewe a few months ago. The show's opener was the Laura Leigh Band, from West Virginia. She was a little too country for my likes. But she had a strong following in the hall. Her opener was energetic, and they did a rousing rendition of CSNY's "Ohio." I see her as a strong up and comer. Midnight North, from their opening note blew me away! I discovered two of their CDs a few months ago, and quite simply I have been obsessed with them. I can't get them out of my player! I have been following the Grateful Dead for the last 45 years, and with Grahame Lesh in the band, I had to check them out. I just didn't expect to get that hooked on them. Once hooked, I had to see them live. All band members are proficient players. The original material is folk-based with a psychedelic twist, that I find engaging. Their show is consistently good, the additions of Cold,Rain and Snow and TLEO, for enough to satisfy any deadhead. What really surprised me was there a rendition of Turn on Your Love Light. Their keyboard player captured the essence of Pigpen. Skill of the players came to life as they captured the sound of the Grateful Dead, with a touch of the Allman Brothers circa 1974. Their own material, was outstanding. Their energy was enough to drive any crowd, which indeed they did. Seldom do I go to see any band more than once (with the exception of the Grateful Dead and Santana). This is a band that I hope to see it over and over again!

The show was great. Very high energy, all the way through. The first time I have seen this band, surely not the last. Everyone is so good, and the fit together perfectly.

One of the best shows I’ve ever been to in my entire life; I cannot wait to see them again in July!!!!!!!

From opening band’s first song to the main act’s encore, this was honestly the best show I’ve been to in a while. I was having a blast the entire show and once the room got warmed up, the vibes were absolutely sizzlin’ in there. Southern Avamue absolutely blew me away. Lark Hall is ALWAYS a great venue!

Will’s talent is so REAL!!! I’ve seen him twice now. I got to meet him firsthand last night. Albany disappointed him with such a small crowd, but boy did he deliver a stellar show, regardless!!!

Dysfunktones were great to open up with and get the vibes set! First time at Lark Hall, nice venue with nice staff, had a good amount of room to dance but it wasn’t empty. Brownstein family band was a lot of fun and had a nice mix of covers! A very wonderful bday weekend treat for myself and I had a blast.

Weather was yucky but the whole super small and intimate concert was absolutely amazing. Never forget the experience. The guys are great.

Absolutely hilarious!!! Todd Barry is pure sarcastic genius. One of the best comics of our time. An added bonus was his opening act Jim Tews who had everyone laughing really hard. Highly recommend!
