The Folk Project

Troubadour Concerts is an intimate Friday evening discovery room that features contemporary singer-songwriters and American roots musicians. We're about great original songs performed in great acoustic genres like blues, bluegrass, Americana, jazz, swing, country & western, Deadhead, Appalachian, folk, British, Latin American, the occasional electric rock 'n' roll, and more.

We introduce our audience to some of the very best nationally touring artists -- the ones who haven't yet grabbed national media attention, but who deserve that spotlight. Remember the last time you heard a performer and became a fan for life? That's the experience we try to recreate for you Fridays in Morristown.

Troubadour Concerts is presented by the Folk Project, an all-volunteer nonprofit music community with over 500 members and thousands of followers. As an all-volunteer nonprofit, our ticket prices are always unreasonably low, considering the high-quality of talent you'll experience. Pro concerts begin at $20 and up, and that's unheard of at this level of music.

The Project's mission is to offer entertainment, education, and performance opportunities to the general public. Troubadour Concerts' mission is to give North Jersey a consistently great musical experience on a Friday night and to turn you on to some great new acoustic artists.
