Jim is always funny. Ted Alexandro, the opener was very good. Jim's new material was good, but The Catholic bit was too long and a bit of a tune-out. Overall, recommended. One thing - the venue (ACL) needs to fix its audio quality. The sound is way too low for comedy, some jokes almost inaudible.

Regina was awesome as always. The show was pretty no frills and no opening acts. Stared 40 minutes late for some reason, and just sat down at the piano and started her set. No dancing around or showmanship really, just a woman sitting at a piano and singing her heart out, and working through her repertoire one song right after the other without a lot of chit chat with the audience between. Exactly what you'd want from Regina. She did most of her biggest hit songs from across multiple albums and a couple I didn't recognize. Her usual quirkiness was a big feature of the show with some beatboxing, percussion on a chair with a drumstick, and a couple of acapella songs. I swear she was freestyling on one of them. She played guitar (probably a bass guitar) backing on one of her songs. I had no idea she played guitar, and honestly she was pretty amateurish at best on the guitar and should have skipped the song in the live show instead of attempting to play it on guitar.

The show was great, and Randy was great. The sound was not. Not sure what the issue was - we were sitting on the floor in section 5, and so much of the talking was muffled or garbled. The songs were better. We were glad most of it had subtitles on the screen; otherwise, we would have missed the words on much of the program. Not sure if it was Randy's problem or not - pretty sure it was the Moody's.

Best concert I've been to in years! Tom and his band were great and Tom's voice only seems to get better with age. The entire audience was invested in the performance and we were all singing throughout the show. Wish I could afford to attend more of his concerts. Austin City Limits and it's employees really seem invested in their jobs and wanted to do everything they could to help you have the best experience. Thanks Tom and ACL!

The band still rocks out, played all the hits. Large crowd, ACL is a wonderful venue (except for their elevator, ADA disaster). The percussion section was on a 4 foot riser that gave great views of the band. Encore was Saturday in the park and 25 or 6 to four, nice finish. Good time for all.

It was an incredible night watching as David Lee, along with Dan Seals, Leslie Satcher and Charlie Robison were inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association!! These are all incredible musicians who have made so many contributions to country music. There were so many other artists who were present to honor and help make this a memorable night!

Amazing guys, all of them do a fantastic job in their specific instruments plus the chemistry between them is quite playful and seems authentic. The singer interacted with us audience with so much camaraderie. He sings with so much passion and gets the highs and lows wonderfully. A misunderstood and underestimated band in my opinion.❤️‍🔥✨

Amazing show! Old stuff and new stuff. The full band was fantastic. And on top of his sweet poetic vocals, see this tour for the super cool shadow art performed live to the songs by two talented artists using overhead projectors. My boyfriend and I were almost brought to tears. Such a great night.

He performed for over 3 hours & was engaging & personable. He was funny while interacting with the crowd or between songs. There were some disruptions but he managed it without allowing it to disrupt the performance or shorten it. As a loyal supporter of Ryan Adams I was very happy to have witnessed him for over 3 hours from 8 rows back.

Wow. Felt like being in church, but in a good way. The venue was great, not a bad seat in the house, and the Black Pumas didn’t disappoint. They have been on my list for a while and I traveled from Chicago to catch this show in the town that gave them their start, reminiscent of Marvin Gaye but in a new way.

Peter Frampton never disappoints live in concert. I remember the first time I saw him live at the Texas Jam in 1976 “Frampton Comes Alive” tour. Peter is still a phenomenal guitar player despite his health challenges and his vocals are still good. I thought he was done playing live. I admire him for not quitting. This was the first time I’ve been to a concert in ACL Live and I was impressed with the sound quality and the way the venue was setup. As for the band all of them were second to none. Peter I say “Die First Then Quit”

Great show! Peter really created a deep connection with the audience. He both satisfied our desired to be nostalgic and hear the hits we grew up as well as wowed us with more recent selections. The sheer warmth of his presence made you feel that he was as happy to be there as his fans were to see him. That said, how was the music? It was amazing. Vocally, he sounds as good or better than 50 years ago, and instrumentally, he still continues to amaze! I would definitely highly recommend this show to anyone with an appreciation of music... not just classic rock!

It was amazing! She hit every note and her band was outstanding! Love this venue and the intimacy it affords between the artists and the fans! She herself even stated we should have been taping it for an ACL Live performance! Can’t wait for her to come back and do it! I will be there! Staff was great too! Fun evening and worth the money!! Lukas and every member of the POTR were amazing! As a fairly new fan of theirs, I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I found myself at one point in ny with my head in my hands, in awe of their talent, just taking it in. They sound just as good live as they do in studio, maybe better. Amazing guitar, bass and piano! They are incredibly in tune with each other and play like they've been playing together for 50 years. It was a top-notch performance, super fun, and gave us a night to remember. We will see them anytime they are in the area. My husband came home and tried to get tickets to their concert in New Braunfels next week because he's already wanting to see them again! Come back to Austin!

Great show, especially with Hays Carll opening (and then playing later with Lyle), as well as the guest appearance of Shawn Colvin for a few songs! Even more surprising and one of the coolest things that happened - for those of us still awake enough at the late hour to stay for the encore - was that Lyle and his band played until 12:45, and it was a really great experience to see them playing the last 3 or 4 songs at the ACL Moody Theater with just about 200 people left in the auditorium. It almost seemed like a private show for the few of us still there!

What a show! Jackson was amazing as always. I see him virtually every time he comes through Austin. As a long time fan, and having worn out his first 3 records (which I consider all time classics), I was ecstatic that he played significant tunes from Saturate, For Everyman and Late For the Sky. It was a 3 hour show with a 20 minute break, so a real robust show! 5 start all the way!

Incredible performance and masterclass musicianship. Lyle Lovett played for three hours! Loved his personal stories about songs, experiences and also those of all the band members. Moody Theater is the best venue in Austin. Easy to get to (park in the City Hall garage for $10, quick two block walk to Moody Theater) venue is not too big so you can see the stage, sound and production are fabulous! Lots of restaurants near by, easy walk to more night life after the show.

I don't know how she does it but she gets better with age. The night was so much fun. Patti Smith is a poet and performer and did I mention legend? The highlight of the night for me was Free Money and the bonus was the story at the end of that song. It is amazing that at 75 she still rocks and has so much fun doing it. Such a beautiful human! And her son Jackson is in the band!

My gut hurts. So good! The open acts were the best. I didn’t catch the comedians name before John, I think it was Darren…had me laughing so hard I lost my breath multiple times. The sunset routine and the dairy routine - easily some of the funniest material I have ever heard. So glad I went!

As always Kevin Russell came with the eclectic energy I’ve come to expect. His movement style, fun mishmash storytelling/singing injected good spirits into the crowd. He didn’t play with his usual band but rather with a group of performers dressed and styled in the manner of George Harrison in his Sgt. Pepper’s getup, Elton John, Ziggy Stardust, Michael Stypes, and Chong of Cheech and Chong. It was a blast!
