Had a blast. 1st time going to one of their concerts. The opening band was great and very energetic. 5 seconds of summer add little videos that help engaged the audience and was telling jokes. I really like how each one got to play one of their songs from their individual albums. I highly recommend.
I am a huge fan of Sleep Token to begin with, but seeing them live was the best experience I've ever had! The set, the light show, the music, and Vessel pouring his heart and soul into every single song - it was amazing! I was in awe, and I loved every second of it! That being said, Rocket Arena could've been better. The seats are teeny tiny, low to the floor, and uncomfortable AF. I'm a tall girl with junk in the trunk, and the seats were almost unbearable. Standing up wasn't much better. You have this tiny strip of floor, so I spent most of the show leaning backwards over my seat. It was a packed house, so we were all on top of each other. Bumping into each other and not having much room to dance or clap, can't get a steady video because people have no room to move around you so we're all just up in each other's space. At least every person I met or talked to or bumped into was super kind and friendly. Best band ever, best fans ever! Sleep Token is so worth whatever discomfort I had to endure!!!
Picture is the view from section 126, Row 15, seat 4.
The concert was amazing and vessel and II were insane during the entire event. The riffs vessel pulled off on very well known songs to make it a little different were incredible and the drum solo II had was amazing during the summoning. So glad that I have gotten to see them 2 times in 1 week. Best concert I’ve ever been to!
I didn’t get to go in person however I’ve been watching every night of this tour including this one live via social media and this tour has been phenomenal. I do have to say there are a few questions and concerns that I have regarding this tour. I’m hoping they will be answered with a 2nd leg of this tour!
The show was amazing. Thornhill was full of energy and got things going for Sleep Token. Then ST came out and the lights were awesome. Vessel sings like an angel. II on the drums kills it as does III and IV on guitar and bass. Let’s not forget Esperas who rock the backup vocals. All in all it was simply an amazing show with the best fan bass a band could have. Oh I have to add, Vessel breaking down absolutely broke my heart, he has no idea what he means to us (but after last night maybe he does) he is so important!
The show was AMAZING, I screamed i cried i nearly threw up.
The venue however was a bit unsafe at points. There was a game happening at the same time and at one point people were so packed in the coming up the escalator people were just at a stop and we couldnt get off, resulting in several people knocking each other over and around to try and prevent someone from getting hurt.
Holy it was amazing, had VIP tickets and was at the very front. Ears still ringing! Chino was barely 6 feet away at times, music was amazing, first opener (Barbarians of California) was amazing, second band (IDOLS) wasn’t my cup of tea. Concert was surreal, high energy in some parts, many crowd surfers. Make sure you get there early (and with money).
Can Deftones perform for a family of three generations of life-long fans all at once? Hypothetically, If a first generation 13 yr old went to the Ozzy Osborne concert at the Rocket Arena in 1995 when Deftones opened up for Ozzy, and 5 years later had generation #2 child at 18 years old in year 2000, and 18 years later generation #3 baby was born in 2018, the Generation #3 baby could go to a Deftones concert in 2031 at 13 years old with their parents and grandparents, all of which could be life-long fans. It seems like the median age was 25 years at this event, and I cannot think of another band that has been performing for 35+ years, able to pull in such a young generation. This must be record breaking.
Absolutely loved it! First time seeing Ghost live and first time being at Rocket Arena. The staff at Rocket Arena were so nice and sweet, helping me when I was of course getting a little lost. Yondr employees were also very nice and helpful as well! Met some nice people and struck up a little conversation too! Overall, 12/10, would do this again!
The band was incredible, My only complaint was the staff had poor communication and because of it me and the person I was with weren't allowed to go see all the things in vip because we went through the wrong entrance and weren't told until after. But, overall it was the best concert I ever went to and as sad as I was about not getting to see the things in vip, it was a great birthday gift for me and I would recommend to go to a show
While I really enjoyed Missy & Ciara performances. I felt Busta was very lack luster. He mostly just stood there & only did about 2 full songs. The rest was just little 30second moments & kept stopping just to talk. I loved in the end when Missy walked through the audience singing Work It! She was amazing!
This was my first time at Rocket Mortgage in many years, and it felt fresh and new. It's a big place, but we found our way around ok with adequate signage. The only issue was that a few ushers were telling people the wrong information (which end the number 1 seat was), and that led to confrontations over seats. Justin Timberlake and his Tennessee Kids put on a FANTASTIC show! It's big, spectacular, and just fantastic! It's almost worth the ridiculously high ticket price.
The show and all the artists were great! Loved to see the wild all over the place Alt pop/Alt metal fusion that is Poppy! Sullivan King was a fun and somewhat unexpected rave of a time, love the fusion of dubstep with some metal/rock songs like Throne - bmth, We got the moves - EC and MHTATE - A Day to Remember! Should've been listening to them!
Only thing is this was SUCH an unusual lineup that didn't really transition smoothly from one artist to the next.
You got Dubstep/EDM DJ Sullivan King with some rock/metal songs thrown in and he played the guitar some & screamed a bit (wished for more of both). Then some cluster f**k (in a good way imp) of alt pop, nu metal, hyper pop, industrial and some hip hop esque beats with wild vocals and lyrics.
Then Avenged which was the most traditional hard rock/heavy metal band in general, with some heavy moments.
The crowd all around was DEAD for SK & Poppy which is unfortunate cause I liked both (went for Poppy tbh, seen AS 4 x now but there good). They both deserved a better crowd but maybe if on a different lineup. So many people were saying that was a bad lineup or "never heard of Poppy..now I know why... that was rough 😬.
S***s to see it but I enjoy V.A.N. and the whole show!
This was my first large concert experience and the band made it a great one! The set list was great, Josh sounded better live than he ever did on Spotify, and the whole group was so attentive to the entire audience and not just the pit. Guitar riffs were fire, and special effects blew my face off. Light My Love was absolutely beautiful and made me want to cry.
Sound-flawless. Image-amazing. Feel-wonderful. But...I’d waited 20 years, then 2.5 more years after Coronavirus, to see the greatest band in the history of mankind that I thought would never play again...and Zack came out by being carried. Call me petty, but I was devastated. He is RATM. I was ready to explode with his energy and passion, and I had no clue he messed up his leg 10 days before because I wanted to setlist spoilers etc. If I would’ve known or if they would’ve addressed it at all starting the show, I think it would’ve helped a lot, but I was in shock half the show and just felt robbed and devastated by God. That said, he did all he could setting down, and they were amazing aside from this. Just sad that this should’ve been the greatest show I’ve ever seen.
First time seeing Dermot live. The only disappointing thing is that he was on tour with Shawn Mendes (though I was pleasantly surprised by this young heart-throb and the entire arena of precious, screaming 13 year old fangirls). Would have done anything to get an entire show with this incredibly talented human. I spent a good portion of the show, in tears. Completely moved by the way this offering calls forth the depths of ones emotional self and soul. I cannot wait to see Dermot Kennedy again!
The show was pretty good! Not really a big fan of en vogue,Salt and pepper are ok but really could use some new songs to mix in with there old ones,Rick Ashley still sounds pretty good for his age lol,Now onto the reason I came 5 bad brothers from Boston Nkotb they started the show with Block party to get the crowd going It took in my opinion Donnie a little while too warm up to the crowd not to wild right away where Joe seemed to be hype from the start really Giving his all to at least the left side of the stage, Jordan played mostly the center of the stage with a few vist to my section the left side. Johnathan and Danny stay mostly in between the center or back from the crowd at first then start warning up to the different sides, And here why only 4 star and unfortunately I know the guy where thinking of the fan with the adding of B stage but it kind of s***s when you're near the front of the main stage or center section and your short can't see anything on the B stage and have to depend on the big screen to see what going on that stage witch I'm probably going to get a lot of slack for voicing my opinion but I guess they do try to please their fans even if this stage set didn't please me a little but it was a Amazing show besides my little issue, they definitely brought the confetti with them this tour Also would of loved to had heard Boys in the Band song maybe next tour. And maybe throwing a few things shirts or Nkotb teddy bears too the crowd as a gift to remind people of the Amazing evening they had! Till next tour This girl will Still be Loving the 5 bad brother's from the Beantown Land NKOTB FOR LIFE
There is no band like TOOL. They combine the technical expertise of the most polished metal bands with the emotional articulation of the angriest, most revolutionary punk bands to create what are sometimes disturbing, often humorous, but always thought-provoking audio and visual experiences.
The set list in Cleveland was a non-stop barrage of face-melting perfection, well-balanced from the band’s 30-year catalogue, and executed flawlessly. I can only hope this band continues to tour and make more music, preferably with much less time between releases.
I highly recommend the VIP Experience if the opportunity is available.
