Floyd Country Store
The Floyd Country Store is renowned as a place to experience authentic Appalachian music, dance, food, and culture. It's home to a group of musicians, flatfoot dancers, and cloggers who are carrying on the tradition of their families who’d pass the time playing music and dancing together. Everywhere they could these folks would gather with their friends and families from their front porch to the neighbor’s kitchen. In the 1980’s Folks in Floyd took to coming out to the General Store and began the Friday Night Jamboree tradition that continues today.
Today, in addition to the Jamboree, we host regular weekly music events. Join us for Honky Tonk Thursdays, Friday Night Jamborees, Americana Afternoons on Saturdays, concerts on Saturday evenings, and Sunday Music Jams.
The Floyd Country Store is also a restaurant and gift shop. We're open Tuesday through Sunday. Come on out and see us!

Great show. Loved the standup bass solo’s. rhythm guitarist was also very good. Ladies were great, fiddle and voice, but I wanted a little more authentic Western Swing and a little less Jazz standards.

The performance was incredible. Hubby Jenkins is a true entertainer. A significant portion of his set was composed of a 50 minute medley of different songs and styles without any pause in the music that kept the entire audience mesmerized. The Floyd Country Store was a perfect venue for his show.
