Very good intimate show and Joseph sounded great and my parents and I enjoyed hearing the stories behind some of the songs…my Dad and I got a pic with him…nice guy!
I had not seen her live since the late 90s so it was so great to hear her beautiful voice and stories up close at a small venue. Will be watching for her to return.
Michael McDermott is a criminally underrated songwriter and performer. We look forward to mid-March every year when he plays Hey Nonny for 3 days. Friday’s show was brilliant as always. Intimate setting. Minimal people on stage. His wife Heather Horton is also a talented vocalist and violinist, and her presence was definitely felt. The show was, as always phenomenal. Great song choices, outstanding vocals, interactions with the crowd. Can’t wait to see him again. Only regret was that I could only attend one of the three shows.
Great show. The whole band was on fire! So grateful that they came to IL on a Tuesday! Perfect mix of songs off of their new album + some major league heater covers!
Grateful Hey Nonny brought Toby Lightman back to their stage. Hearing her sing and play my favorite songs brought a smile to her face. She connects with the audience like you’re just a friend sitting in her living room. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Trace Bundy concert/show was an absolute memorable experience, leaving the crowd mesmerized and entertained from start to finish. Trace’s pure talent, combined with his captivating stage presence, created an intimate and unforgettable atmosphere. From start to finish the crowd was left smiling, laughing and eager to spend the night with Trace making it a must-see show for any fan or like, looking for an evening spent with an incredibly talented musician. Appropriate for ages 0-100+
I have always been a fan of Jill’s writing. She tells such great stories. Her performance was so fun and interactive. She asked the audience for requests and played every one of them. She talked to us all and hung out after the show. What a great time we had.
And the restaurant and club., overall was fabulous.
What a beautiful venue and what a fantastic, intimate show! We have not seen Mutlu for a while and absolutely needed to refill our “Mutlu cup!”
If you have not had the opportunity to see him, changes that immediately! You will love his storytelling and his gift of music. I cannot recommend enough! Thank you Mutlu! Hope yo see you soon!!!
Great show! Always a good time but especially liked the mix of older and current songs! Was thrilled to score the XXV double-CD set. Great compilation. So much less swapping out of CDs in the car to hear the songs I love!
Crystal is a gifted artist and an amazing human being. She rises above being mom to her niece, her son's and her own medical challenges and continues to produce heart-felt songs delivered with emotion and joy. She obviously loves what she does.
Great singer songwriter who knows how to balance ballads with rocking out. Plus WM has one kick-b**t backing crew. I’ll definitely see him every time he comes around!
Intimate setting and awesome performances. Would have paid 4x the price for the seats to see this band. My fourth time seeing Danielle over last 5 years.
John Berry never disappoints. His show was amazing. It never ceases to amaze me how his voice sounds the same, if not better, in person as it does on his recordings. No studio manipulation for this guy. He did a sweet ode to John Denver that was enjoyed by everyone in sing along fashion. He even did some covers of songs by Neil Young, and a few others from his childhood. He even played the harmonica for Heart of Gold. As the saying goes, he could sing the phone book and make it sound amazing. It was also great that he and his wife Robin took the time to talk to anyone wanting to talk to them, signed autographs, and took pictures with the guests. Purely a class act all the way around.
Enjoyable hardly scratches the surface as I reflect on my experience of last night’s The Arcadian Wild show. Engaging music, articulate performance, moving and relevant lyrics. So appreciated the banter with the audience, too, and the way the band members appeared to enjoy one another. While I am a fan of TAW’s recorded music, do not pass up a chance to experience their energy, passion and beauty in person!
