Amazing, intimate show!!! I love how they roamed around in the crowd and really interacted with everyone. Political and fun!!! Will definitely attend another show in the future.
Overall good show. His set was only 45 minutes which surprised me since it was the headliner. Not the best stage presence but he is a young artist on his first headlining tour. Solid overall.
Both acts [ Jarrod Dickenson and Dylan LeBlanc ] delivered energetic and professional sets. The venue sound left a lot to be desired - volume was too high for the space and had a "sharp" high end grating quality.
First time as Sleeping Village, what a great spot! Beer selection was excellent, and Miles Miller and the band were fantastic. Will definitely see him again, and will certainly back to Sleeping Village.
Kipp stone was a great performer. Very intimate interactions with the crowd. While chuck may been a bit stoic he is certainly a rappers rapper. Excited to see where he takes it from here
The venue is outstanding. Friendly staff, clean, great sound. However, Nick Waterhouse ditched his backup singer and horn section. Huge mistake Nick. We've seen them several times and his shows were stellar. Played all new stuff which is pretty good but won't likely go out of my way to see him anymore.
I saw Algiers at Riot Fest last year and they blew me away with just a thirty minute set. I absolutely NEEDED to see more! They did not disappoint! Party Dozen was also incredible and started the night out on a high note. The energy from both bands was contagious. It’s one of the best shows I’ve been to, and I go to a lot. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!
First time at Sleeping Village. Very cool intimtated kinda session.
VInyl Williams was AMAZING. Psychedelic Sounds, Dreamy Echos, Mind Floatiness. It's all there and more. Got to meet the band after, really down to earth and super about their fans. 10 out of 10 would buy a ticket and take the ride again
Fantastic show. Can't wait to see them live again. Nice, "intimate" venue, as they say. Easy to get right up front and into the pit.
Please give support a band that is all about good tunes and good vibes! And bring your dancing shoes, they groove!!
As always King Buffalo NEVER disappoints. Played some great tracks from Regenerator. Enjoyed the venue also-well done bar in the front of the house, large patio and an intimate yet accommodating decent sized space for the show. Good acoustics. I got to speak with either a manager or owner closing the night and he was very informative - good guy. Go and see King Buffalo, I have just about every time they come to Chicago (or other places) for many years now - you'll enjoy them. Crowds will surprise you in their variety of ages.
Awesome show! Sarah and the band poured their hearts out last night! This was my second time seeing them; saw them in Nashville. An amazing experience.
I love this band and they never disappoint, when I see them live! Plus who hangs out with their fans after shows, awesome bands like Pelican, that's who!
Grails: AMAZING.
Sleeping Village: never been before but what a nice venue! I hope more acts I like get to this venue. Great place.
What amazing sound & reverb. His melodies were so hypnotic. My first experience live was a great time. I hope he visits again! Tres bien!
In the best way possible it was like a sleepy jam session with some very relaxing music. Reminded me of hammocking by a body of water.
The vocals were a bit hard to understand and there wasn’t much crowd interaction.
Would recommend to anybody who likes Loving’s music or sweet chill vibes. Don’t know if I’d recommend to someone who doesn’t know who they are. Perfect for slow dancing with a date.
They were so amazing omg did they play their heart out and played new music I cannot wait for their new album to come
Amazing show...it far exceeded my expectations. duendita and MorMor are amazing musicians, who deserve to have more of the spotlight. I’ll definitely be present at their next shows.
Great small venue and another top drawer performance by the band. Very tight, lots of energy and Shani is six month’s pregnant. Only downside was the 11:45 pm start time for this Geezer
