The Progressive Voices Concert Series has been hosted by First Unitarian Church of Des Moines since 2010 and is open to the general public. Our goal is to bring nationally and internationally-touring singer-songwriters to Central Iowa who can connect with a wide audience by presenting music that promotes compassion for and celebration of the universal human condition in all its forms and variations. We present artists whose music has the power to engage your mind, touch your heart, and uplift your spirit. They can also tap your ability to laugh a little!
