The BayCare Sound

Two great musicians appeared in what should be a great venue. The Baycare Sound, whose name sounds like the name of a hospital, has made many upgrades since I was here last. They have raised the back half of the seats for better visibility and enlarged the lawn seating area. Plus, there is a dedicated handicapped seating area. Unfortunately, I think the chairs, themselves, have been downgraded. These folding chairs were so hard and uncomfortable that we had to leave early. An all-star duo appeared, John Fogarty and Steve Winwood, and luckily that helped save the day.

Saw Styx at BayCare Sound and they were absolutely phenomenal. The musicianship, vocals, visuals, and overall energy were honestly impressive from start to finish. They sounded polished, engaged, and like they genuinely still love performing. The crowd energy was great and the whole show just felt fun and nostalgic in the best way. BayCare Sound was also a fantastic venue for a show like this — great atmosphere and sound quality.

Loved the music and the performance was stellar. Wish those who attended paid attention more. I was surrounded by a bunch of chatty people...ugh. Also, I would prefer politics not be a part of it at all. It's the one time you get to unplug from the world and adding it to the performance just reminds you of what you want to escape from. Overall, I would see this band again.

Joe’s show was superb! A true pleasure to experience. He has surrounded himself with fabulously talented artists. Christone “Kingfish” Ingram was equally brilliant. I feel blessed to have been able to enjoy their performances at the Sound in Clearwater. I am looking forward to seeing them the next time they are in the area or wherever our paths may cross. It sure would be phenomenal to see them coordinate a show with Beth Hart and do an extended version of their Amsterdam show from years ago. Saturday’s show was phenomenal thank you for sharing your talents with us on March 21, 2026.

My first time seeing All Time Low and hopefully not the last! I was lucky to get pit tickets and the guys didn't disappoint! The Paradox, Mayday Parade and Four Year Strong were all also fantastic to see live! Folks of all ages were at this show, I sang my lungs out and had a blast! I hope to see these guys again for their next tour!

The concert was amazing! it was better than last year! I like Ruth Eckerd Hall better as I do not like to sweat! Air conditioning is always welcome in hot weather. Also lots of little bugs. Caroline and Amy were awesome! The band was also awesome. As long as Hauser comes to Clearwater I will be there! The show gets a 10 out of 10!! Cathy Ford

This show was great. The artistry extends beyond the music with their live performances, their wardrobe, the lights, the set, and the music all come together in an amazing experience. My only gripe is with the venue. This venue has great potential but the security, staff, and seating/standing areas make me hesitant to ever go back. The venue has astro turf which one would think is where they want people to stand/sit, but staff were continuously ushering people out of these spaces. People then began to stand in the concrete walkways, and the guards told them they couldn't stand there and ushered them out. This ultimately lead to physical confrontation, where a guard grabbed a woman who was standing in the walkway. The woman understandably got upset by this. The altercation ended with police escorting the woman and her partner out. A very distracting situation that was all the venue and the venue staffs doing. Just know if you're at this venue and standing somewhere, the staff here may put their hands on you.

I love this woman's voice, it just doesn't get any better than her!! Taylor you are phenomenal and ALWAYS put on the best performance ever 👍🏻 Thank you for still making music and touring and I hope like Ms Tina you stay with us for as long as you can making music xoxoxox love your number 1 fan forever Chasity ❤️🤗🩵

He didn't play one of his all-time classics... Only women bleed and could have done many more from welcome to My nightmare but all in all for an old guy he was really good... The show only ran for about 90 minutes.. not worth the money when it all comes down to it ...

We had no idea what to expect as we hadn’t been to the venue before, and I was quite impressed! A couple minor issues though; the website said empty water containers were allowed, but that sadly wasn’t the case. I reluctantly gave it up with the promise of its return after the shows, and to my surprise it was still there to collect! The venue is well set up except for mobility challenged people having to walk across the grass to reach our seats. Loverboy was great, and Styx was awesome! I loved the showmanship, the talent, and hearing the old and new music. We were thoroughly entertained!

Great music (other than being a tad loud). In defense we attended a Daryl Hall concert (3) days earlier and the sound system was cranked up as well. Don’t understand why the sound engineers over amplify the event. Could easily take down the sound by 25% + . Otherwise well managed arena, casual eats and adult beverages. Off site parking @ $20.00 2-3 blocks from entrance.

What a fantastic tour with such amazing artists! Walk off the Earth was a phenomenal opener with an additional kid band. That blonde kid sang his heart out and brought the energy to the crowd. Lindsey Stirling was flawless on violin playing and very talented acrobat. She can do it all! Her performances are worth watching! I’d definitely tell someone about the next show she comes back!

Anberlin puts on a heck of a show! Matty Mullins stellar voice does this band justice. They even brought Stephen Christian to sing Paperthin Hymn, which was a nice surprise. They played every hit song until their strongest number, The Feel Good Drag, and it’s all worth every moment! Thank you Anberlin, Hawthorne Heights, and the bands that make the 20 Years of Tears Tour so special!

This was my first Lovejoy concert, and when I saw them on the interview screen, I literally started to bawl my eyes out and my body was shaking so bad. Wilbur and Lovejoy's music had practically saved my life, so seeing them in person was absolutely surreal to me. I made so many new friends, and one I STILL talk to since that day. I just can't believe that I was there. Seeing Lovejoy is SO worth it. They played all my favorite songs, and I was just SOBBING through each one.

Really great musicians and good band but the sound of the venue was terrible all day. Really want to see them again in a different place. I was lucky enough to see them earlier in the day at 97X green room and that sounded great and was a treat to only see them in a small room with 30 other people play acoustic:)

Dave Koz and Eric Darius, gave one of the best concerts, that I've seen in a long time! They gifted the audience with just great, great music, that kept us rocking out all evening! I can't wait to see them again! However, the extreme heat that we experienced at the "Sound" music theater was nearly unbearable! I was afraid for my dad who has a pacemaker, that he would have a medical issue! I would suggest huge fans that circulate a cool mist, and that would face the audience. If not the fans, then maybe something or anything else, that would help relieve the discomfort of the humidity and heat! Jacque'

We all had a great time. Cheap Trick was awesome as usual. The venue was beautiful and clean. Very nice and helpful people. The only negative thing I would say is if you are not allowed to bring in water ( and it was hotter than you know what) don't charge so much for plain old water. It's not fair. It's hot and we had to share a water between us because of the expense. I can see paying a bit for Alcohol, but water??? Come on. And one other thing. I heard a lot of people around me of complaining about vaping/ smoking. I don't but, there should be one spot for them to go to. Just my opinion. Otherwise great time...great memories.
