Fantastic show. Trophy Eyes is so tight and the singer had a wonderful stage presence even though he was dealing with a bad cold and also the horrible stage diving incident that recently happened to a fan. Big props to the band for playing like they were playing for a huge crowd. They rip!! Also the openers "House and Home" and "Rarity" were very good and also interesting. Solid as hell show for a half filled place. Hope Trophy eyescomes back soon.
It was a great show! I have my new favorite facility for the next concerts. But I'd say there were a couple moments which didn't make it right - Monday and 4 bands! 3 first bads were also awesome and they really warmed the guys up. But as they warmed everyone most were tired by the time Tyr appeared... Guys, Tyr, you have an awesome new album, you have some of my favorite songs. You can do better!
Oh WOW! I k ew Greg Koch was good but…. That was over the top. I left the Cornerstone in Berkeley CA floating on cloud 9.
What an amazing performance. This is a once in a lifetime must see show. If you are a music enthusiast. You gotta see the Koch-Marshall Trio.
I can’t say much more. They have my highest respect. Daym. I’m still amazed.
The band was tight, the groove was funky at times and slower stand outs were Everybody’s Talking at Me and Blue Skies. I wish I had time to follow them down to SoCal. Daniel Donato is obviously a sublimely creative and nimble guitarist/soloist but the entire band are supremely talented. Bought merch to keep the machine rolling, do the same and pass it on!
The Cornerstone was a nice venue and I recommend any shoe there as well.
Venue was nice. Lot’s of space.
If you have never seen The White Buffalo! You are missing out. Love you guys! I would see them every day if I could but I don’t miss them ever in my neck of the woods!🎶❤️🎶🔥
Great show with fantastic energy! This is my first time at Cornerstone and I was impressed with the sound quality and air flow in the space and they have a great selection of drinks.
So far one of the best shows I’ve been to this year. Cornerstone had that sound so dialed in it was madness. Crowd was insane from start to finish. Honestly gotta be a world record show for the number of stage dives in one night. Very refreshing to see bands I havnt discovered yet. Shout out to Gates to Hell, and Vomit Fourth. They killed it. First time seeing Kruelty as well. Also better than the albums sound. Second time seeing Bogg and my god did they put in work. Sound guy nailed the tuning and they sounded heavier then the last time. Played until the place kicked em off stage. Couldn’t have asked for more. Worth every penny and more on this one!!
Really high energy show, they did a cover from Freaky Friday which was really cool. They asked that only ladies and "they-d-ies" (for the non binary peeps) be in the pit. It was a great crowd, it felt really safe. There was a good amount of talking between songs, I love it when artists talk to the audience, I feel like I get to know them better.
Venue - Cornerstone Berkeley is a great small venue, if you get there early you can snag a seat at the top. Staff were very nice and they had a coat rack but there was no one monitoring it so hang your coat at your own risk. *There were no gender neutral bathrooms
This concert was so much fun. The music and atmosphere were all amazing,I was lucky enough to get right up against the stage and all in all, it was a great time.
The crowd made the whole concert 10x more fun! Good music, the band was cool. It wasn’t grossly packed like sometimes shows I’ve been to there have been, which made the experience more enjoyable for me!
Solid show by With Confidence as always, super bummed this is their last one, but I’m so glad they chose to come back to Cornerstone. Saw them here for the first time with Broadside in 2018 and ate at the restaurant beforehand. Food was good and the restaurant itself is really cute and casual. The venue side is intimate and the sound system is great, the second floor is spacious and a great view if you don’t mind sharing bar style seating with strangers or if you’re tall enough to stand and see over people that are sitting. Employees at the door of both sides of the entrances are really pleasant and getting in was really easy. Overall, awesome show and vibes!
What a performance ! He went through a great set list that included a couple new songs. His band was tight and Richie delivered the chops. The dude can play guitar. Going to see him in Roseville tonight.
Easily one of my favorite venues in all of the Bay Area and potential one of the best Tours ever constructed. Seeing Rivers/Fallujah/Warforged/Alluvial/TheZenithPassage is like watching the new torch bearers stake their dominion.
I finally saw my favorite band here in Berkeley at the Cornerstone. A full, sold out Cornerstone at that. The Warning rocked the house with non stop energy and the crowd helped energize The Warning. I can't wait for more concert dates to attend. TW for ever.
Amazing performance by The Warning. These girls sound amazing live. They're extremely talented and their energy is contagious. I wish the concert had been longer, but I understand this was their first time in Berkeley and played at a small venue. Their opening band Devora were pretty cool too.
They were nothing short of AMAZING!!! I couldn't believe they could be better in person than on studio recordings, THEY ARE!!! The talent of these young ladies is simply incredible. They have a long, successful, career in front of them. Best of luck👍🤘
it was truly a beautiful experience, aside from almost passing out in the crowd (my fault), i wish i could relive the moment. I got a signature from mauri and his wife so i really couldn’t be happier.
Wish all of them where there and they performed more. The DJ played for almost 2hrs and then their DJ came on after for nearly half an hour then some other folks and then finally the main folks. Great to see them though having grown up listening to them. Wish they regulated smoking inside the venue too, not everyone smokes or finds it enjoyable to have it blown in their face or the smell around when you're trying to enjoy a performance. Great bartenders. Great signing along with them and the energy was cool. Layzie and Flesh were there for the fans hi fiving and interacting with the crowd, Krayzie had good energy and Wish was the only one I was like damn, it felt like he was just there and just promoting big time. Krayzie and Wish really didn't interact with the crowd like Layzie and Flesh. Once again, good to see them though. Looking forward to hearing that everyone will be together and performing and hopefully and hopefully they'll perform more and it's just them, not a lot fill.
if you are 100 miles close to a Juliette Lewis show, you are not too smart, if you don't make the drive. I have driven 800 for Pj, I'd do the same for Ms. Lewis. Not only does she bring her whole being during the show, she is 100%present when meeting her fans. She is by far the best rock show out there these days.
She is a total bad ass! Omg! I go to shows all the time and hers rates above most. Total udirbce engagement high energy .. I was dancing so much sweating my clothes were sticking g to me after the show pure awesomeness !
