Nobel is hét poppodium van Leiden en de regio daaromheen, en geeft een podium aan alles wat relevant is in de hedendaagse popcultuur. Voor artiesten en publiek is de Nobel een ontmoetingsplaats waar wordt beleefd, bedacht, gevierd en gedeeld, met muziek als inspiratiebron. Nobel staat voor een vernieuwend en actueel aanbod van muziek en andere vormen van (pop)cultuur. Leiden is de stad van kennis en cultuur. This was my first time in Leiden and at NOBEL. I came all the way from Japan. I wish I could have stayed until the end, but unfortunately, my wife and I had to leave before the last song because we had to leave the Netherlands early the next morning.
I met some really nice people: a Swiss guy who really enjoys a drink, a heavy-metal woman from Ireland, and a handsome guy who really loves Japan.
The Netherlands will always remind me of Coroner. Although I couldn't stay for their final song, their brilliant and intricate compositions gave me a deeply intoxicating experience. Coroner was absolutely amazing.
It was a very special night for me, and I hope I can see Coroner again someday.
