I don't like the sound in Astra Kulturhaus, but the location is quite nice anyway.
The concert was as great as I hoped and of course it was over far too quickly.
There was not much talking by the siblings, but they picked a great selection of songs.
I saw content, dreamy, touched faces all around me!
Pretty cool show!
All openers were fun to watch, even though they were a little too similar for my taste. Solence had the best energy, Ankor was the most sympathetic imo.
NM themselves brought a lot of energy themselves! They were having fun, engaging with the crowd - much less stoic than the videos I've seen suggested. Loved standing in front of Mark (guitarist), who smiled a lot, came down to the barricade once and delivered impressive vocals (clean and screaming). Same thing goes for Daniel (bassist), from what I saw. Unfortunately I didn't see as much of Ben (drummer), since he was right behind Mark, in addition to being hidden behind the kit. The drum and bass soli were a lot of fun, the latter being very creative. All in all a very solid show and I'd go see them again, given the chance - especially now knowing what to expect (see below).
A NOTE ON COMFORT:
The crowd was *moving* the entire time, starting from the last songs of Ankor. Great to see people are still doing pits and generally engaging a lot. Though, when Nothing More came on, the whole middle section was pushing forward a lot, which made it hard to concentrate on anything but not getting squished. If the crowds are similar at all shows, consider standing left/right, if you like being close to the stage and watching the band instead of moshing.
They delivered a good show with good energy. Since two very similar openers had already played, I wasn't too into it, but I still enjoyed their set. Could have been a little more outward/crowd-oriented for my taste.
Fun to watch, very sympathetic and I love seeing women on stage! Especially on screaming vocals and drums. They delivered a good show, obviously having fun and being grateful to be there. Not entirely my style, but I would definitely recommend, if it is yours.
Angus McSix war geil, sehr unterhaltsam. 5 Sterne.
I feel like there could've been bit more upbeat and danceable songs, because sometimes it got pretty boring and felt more like bedroom pop. I really love Polo&Pan, so I was a bit disappointed. The venue was alright except for the pillars on the sides blocking your vision if you were standing on the side.
Beautiful performances, great lighting on stage and really good sound! I normally have to protect my hearing during concerts, but that was not the case as the sound quality was really good.
It would have been helpful if it was possible to buy water in plastic bottles to have during the concert as it was long and warm. Also, super annoying that everyone is holding their phones up to film for most of the concert, so its hard to see anything - but I suppose thats Gen Z...
The 40 year old..
Amazing show and amazing energy. And I love that they forbid using cameras during the show, so your view is not obstructed by phone screens as it often happens on other shows. The venue was a bit too hot though, but I was prepared and brought a fan :) The photo is from the dedicated photo time at the end of the night.
While listening to The Midnight and alike a lot, you'll usually only find me on metalcore concerts either headbanging in the front or in the middle of the moshpit. So I didn't quite know what to expect...
Turns out it's been one of the best concert experiences I've had so far. The positive energy that quickly filled the room and increased by the minute was incredible. You could feel their absolute passion.
A real surprise, just the artist, the voice and a pair of musicians to back the performance.... Pure energy and the crowd went wild! Great artist, great show! One of the best concerts I`ve been to so far. Can`t wait for the next show! Hopefully very soon!

Never been to one of their live shows before, but I was amazed. It's just as spectacular as their music videos, only even more vivid. They seem to enjoy what they do very much, which in turn was a massive joy to watch. I'll go see them again, no question!
Amazing opening act. The waiting period between Ithaca (opening act) and Big Thief was a bit long and there was no crowd interaction until the very last song (before the encore). Then the singer opened up and revealed that she didn't acknowledge the crowd because she "was falling apart up here", which was very charming. From that point on the atmosphere soared, with an air of mutual appreciation and support between band and audience.
So after an amazingly energetic opening act, a waiting period that let 80% of that energy and good will dissipate, and a rather lackluster beginning, the show really turned around half time and left me very satisfied.
A very tight, but very good show (2 hours, no encore) in an amazing venue. Celebrating Kaleidoscope's 20th anniversary, Kelis played all the hits from all her albums. The crowdwork was excellent.
Also, the opening act, Farr was a very interesting live experience. They did their best to warm up the crowd, only to be undercut by Kelis taking about a hour to enter stage after them.
This long wait was a sad blemish on an otherwise outstanding experience.
We flew all the way from Bulgaria to see him here, it was really amazing experience. Such a great performance, even though it would've been better to be more than 1 hour. Can't wait to see him again sometime soon.
It isn't that the 28 years have passed the band by traceless - Kowalczyks voice became more fragile and lost a little of his power. But the guys know how to get the audiance going and they had obviously the joy to play gigs again.
She was awesome. I was able to see her passion for music throughout her performance but at the same time you could feel and see the crowd without any or just a little amount of passion. Mø herself did a great job and I enjoyed it but hopefully next time we will have a more passionate crowd.😅
Great band, great audience and a nice show. Although the singer seemed to have some voice problems.. Great for the show (and himself! ) he could hold it together. The support act (Ryan McMullan) was awesome as well!
