We had such a great time! The venue was cozy and it felt like you were right there with the band. Having drinks and hanging out with everyone after the show was a bonus. Great music, great vibes, and great people made it a night to remember

Cristina Vane and her tight band did not disappoint. I travel to hear her set. Every night gets better. From dying day blues to clawhammer banjo to country. Her songs go subtle and deep to a kickin rock n roll edge. Shake it Baby!! Support the talent!! Bonnie, Whitley, Cashdollar, Kelly Jo, Vane, L. George Larkin Poe... Slide guitar resonator royalty. 👸 👑 ♠️

Absolutely incredible. This was my second time seeing them and I can’t wait for the next one. They announced that there is a new album coming out this year and I couldn’t be more excited. The new material that they played was great.

The show was awesome! We had a great experience at Milkboy and we enjoyed being able to have dinner beforehand and just go upstairs for the show. It's a small room but it makes for a very intimate atmosphere for a show, especially a metal show. Both Resistor and Deadlands absolutely crushed it and were SO pleasant to chat with after the show. Very good experience and I will be both returning to Milkboy and catching Deadlands whenever I can!

Jake was wonderful though unfortunately the crowd was very small. We saw him at Bourbon & Beyond last year and he blew us away but he's pretty much unknown up here. We also only caught half of his set because we thought he was the headliner based on the order the bands were listed on the Milkboy website but it turns out he was the opener. We will go out of our way to see him because he has a very intense singing style and a Tom Waits -like voice

Amazing concert! The unbelievable talent of each member was indescribable 🤯 I loved how jonathan was interactive with the crowd and how Maison (The Drummer) was in a whole another world with his drumming specially being around him since I was a child. Elon (The Bassist) was pure incredible with his unheard sound he get from his custom made bass. Just Amazing how this concert went ⭐️10/10

Absolutely amazing show. He played so many songs and was interactive with the audience. He definitely spoke his mind when people were talking while he was trying to tell a story. Love an artist who can call out the rude people who ruin the show for others. Anyway, super cool guy. Stayed after and took photos and signed autographs. Glad I got a chance to meet him before he gets bigger. Awesome show!

Quelle Chris always has the best energy. He connects with the crowd. He has so many voices. He was spinning records between performers. Just a great vibe. Such an awesome show.

The show was excellent! Pink Soap absolutely killed; it's amazing that this was only their third show ever! I hope to hear more from them. Bobby Mahoney was terrific. Great song selection and fantastic energy start to finish! And of course, headliners Soraia delivered their usual excellent performance, with a nice mix of material from Shed the Skin, the reissue of which was the reason for the show, from their other albums, and even some new songs they plan to release in 2025. Zou Zou's crowd work is always great, and this show was no exception. This was, I think, the third show I've attended at Milkboy. I like the space a lot, the sound and the lighting is usually excellent. The menu downstairs has been different every time, but I've never been disappointed. The bacon bleu burger was delicious, so were the sea salt fries. The staff was cheerful as always. Overall, a highly enjoyable experience, and I'll definitely be back.

AMAZING show. Carter nails it and is such a talented musician. He knows how to handle a crowd and be funny between songs. Plenty of good deep cuts mixed with the funny short ones. Such a great show.

Incredible show. Blockhead is an amazing musician, and this new album is definitely one of my favorites. Poldoore was also fantastic. I'm so grateful I was able to get to this show and would love to catch either of them again if they're reasonably close.

Phenomenal show! Those guys put in one sweet “workday.” Also, just genuinely nice and hilarious guys. So much talent. I wish them all the best on this tour and everything else. If they’re in your town “you need to go to there.”

Killer Set 7/23 @ Milkboy in Philly! Have seen them multiple times and they never disappoint! If you’re into Powe Pop/ Punk you can’t go wrong with Luis and Kelly (And the Tots) They’ll even hang with you after the show and take pix and sign your merch. They’ll even play with. Zomy Knee! Can’t wait till next tour or Stage it!

Mike Viola is an incredible artist and a great vocalist and musician. Mike is so much fun and just an all around great guy! I highly recommend seeing one of his shows if given the opportunity!

Grady Spencer & The Work were awesome!! You can see Grady's passion for music on stage and the love he has for his fans. Had the opportunity to chat with him a bit after the show. He's of the most down to earth guys you'll probably ever meet. If you haven't yet, go see him live, you'll love every second it!!

Small venue with opportunity to meet and chat with the band members. AJ Lee needs more exposure on the East Coast! Her voice is amazing. They played for nearly 2 hours without a break because there was no opening act... Never missing a beat.

If you have the chance to see DB for this tour do not hesitate. Her band, her vocals, and the live version of her songs all together in a show is pure magic. I loved every moment of last night.

From a post I wrote after attending: "just came home from having a F*****G AWESOME time seeing I Fight Dragons live at the Milkboy bar in downtown Philly. It’s actually the first time I went to a concert all on my own, to a band that was all my own. I’ve gone before, to shows for the Big Names like Queen and the Stones ans such–shows for my parents’ bands, that I also liked, sure but theirs–in massive arenas that put you dozens of yards away from the band, but this-this was different. This was mine. This was just for me. I didn’t have to BE or DO anything for anyone other than myself. My ears are still ringing. My throat’s kinda sore. It was f*****g great" My ears didn't stop ringing for five days after. Worth it.

One of my favorite shows in a long time. Bella's Bartok were amazingly good and just awesome people, and wack cheddar were really great as well. Both these bands should be selling out big veneues once people catch on to how good they are. See them up close and personal in a small venue while you can!!!
