OC live was one of the top 5 metal performances I have seen in my 56 years. Lackluster ticket sales had them playing in the small room, but that just allowed them to have more fun with the crowd.
The highlight for me was when their lead guitarist offered to play the next song from the middle of "the pit" to get more people involved. It blew everyone's minds when he came down offstage and actually did it!
Loved the show. Amaranthe was even more amazing than I expected and Dragonforce was badass, although I was exhausted by then with the three hours of standing/performances leading up to it.
There really isn’t any seating(for an over five hour concert) unless you paid more, which kinda sucked. The staff was mostly cool but there were a few rude/unprofessional security staff when I was leaving at 11pm ish.
I went because it was on my 16th birthday and i came 8 hours from new york to watch him. i got the whole VIP package and met him. it was so amazing i cried the whole show i also was front and center for the whole show and made so many friends!
I’ve wanted to see VNV live FOREVER and I was not disappointed! Ronan killed on vocals and he handled an unexpected guest on stage with as much poise and magnanimity as one could imagine. The venue was on point and spotless. The only complaint I have is no onsite parking and a no outside drink policy.
It was so amazing! Got to meet her and MisterWives and had a Q&A with them. My daughter was able to get her T-shirt autographed by Mandy Lee of MisterWives and get Bishop’s set list with handwritten notes! Front row was amazing. Both have such great vocals. Moving and full of energy. Will definitely see again when back in town.
This is one of the best concerts that I have been too in a long time. Even with the lead singer not there, the band still put on an amazing show. They even used the lead singers from their opening acts to perform in place of the lead singer.
My brother and I went to this show last night. Of course it's Victor Wooten, and I'd give a 5 star rating if it weren't for the venue. We had no idea there would be NO SEATS at this show, which we found a bit odd. Also, for the talent of Mr. Wooten, Cory Wong and his exquisite musicians, I wish they could land the Fox Theater or something- it would sound so much better in there, but overall- the actual music and show was fantastic!
Cory is strictly a rythym guitarist. He does nothing but funk which can put some people to sleep from the boredom. He is part of the rythym section that consisted of drums, bass, keyboards and Cory. I would give the rythym section a 7 out of 10. The horn section brought their A Game. They were tight as a drum. I consider Chicago's horn section the gold standard and these guys came so close to that high bar. Everyone of them had the chops and they were on full display at this GIG. Victor played for around 30 minutes while the bands regular bass player went off stage. Victor is spectacular at all of his performances. I have seen him with his family in Detroit. I would much rather have seen him alone. He stated that Bela is putting the group together, but only on the west coast. Why Cory never turned Victor loose is a mystery. Just 4 minutes of Acapella would have satisfied me. Why bring Victor along? Maybe Cory knew that Victor would draw a much larger crowd? The warm up band turned out to be the best band on stage. They are rooted in country. They stated they were from Nashville. This band was so entertaining. This was one of the tightest vocals I have heard in a long time. Each vocalist held their own even when they botched one of the intros. I hope they tour as the main act. I will certainly pay good money to see them perform. Sorry Cory. I cannot tell a lie.
Wyatt McCubbin was the opening act and did a great job! Super personable & great stage presence - interacted with the audience well.
Kameron Marlowe was OUTSTANDING as always!! The Meet & Greet performance was stellar, he is very personable as well & seemed very comfortable with everyone while taking photos.
Concert flow & choice of song performances was perfect; awesome energy & interaction! He even came back out for a lengthy encore! Truly the BEST concert from a newer artist I’ve seen so far.
Kameron Marlowe is going big places!! 💖😍
WHAT. A. SHOW. I love Cannons, but if you can, see them live- it's worth it. Michelle's vocals were on point, and she kept the room captivated while the band rocked and were in total sync. The venue was great too; very chill and there were places to sit if you need to. I look forward to seeing the band again when they come to town and hitting up more concerts at the Majestic. Thanks again to the whole team for putting on a quality show!

James Bay gave a lively enjoyable concert. He played songs that introduced him to me all the way to his newest music. He even celebrated his birthday with us. His opening act was talented and a joy to listen to. The venue was small enough to feel intimate but spacious enough that it didn't feel crowded. I look forward to seeing him in concert again and I hope to see other acts at the Majestic.
Absolutely incredible performance by Aurora and her whole band. Despite being in my mid 30s, this was my first pop concert. Aurora’s vocal clarity, consistency and power were the best of any concert I can remember. The backup singer was fantastic as were all the members off the band. Aurora was also the most conversational and genuine performer I’ve seen, taking time to share her beliefs, humorous personal anecdotes and to express gratitude to the audience for their support. The audience was the most eclectic crowd I’ve ever seen at a concert and quite respectful and kind. I’d love to see Aurora perform again.
I feel sorry for the Boomers who bellyache that only the bands of their youth were any good, and that today’s music is all junk. I was there then and I’m here now to declare that The Pineapple Thief is better than any of the classic rock bands.
Absolutely CRUSHING show, Exodus who I have seen 11-12 times thru the years and never had a bad show, just keeps the heavy coming. Gary looked possessed all night, just thrashing and ripping. It was great to see Tom Hunting doing so well and his thank you to the crowd and prayers while he was sick was epic. Ran into Jack at HopCat pre show, very approachable and took pics with us. Exodus has never been an ego band, always fan friendly. How the fuck they are not included in the Big 4 controversy is a joke! We waited for 2 1/2 years for this show, worth every minute of the wait. Death Angel was good, Testament was good and Exodus just took it to a whole new level. Thrash metal in the D is always a good thing. Hoping they swing back around for one more leg because it's worth doing the Toxic Waltz in the pit again! Great show!!;
Amazing crowd, amazing music. The most fun I’ve had in a concert in a really long time and Nnamdi was incredible. Got to meet him after the show and he was so chill. Never saw a crowd move like in this concert, my neck’s still recovering from all the head banging.
Great Show! Sound guy had White Chapel and prior bands dialed in pretty good. Cannibal’s sound was a little muddy. I tried different sides of the venue to see if I was just missing directional sound…I wasn’t. Still a good show. Hard to say if the mud was the band or sound engineer.
He was so amazing! The crowd had good energy, he sounded amazing on his guitars and performed some of my favorite songs! His first solo tour, I can’t wait for the next ones! I hope he gets some rest at home too! He said he almost canceled because he never gets to be home for more than three months!
One HELL OF A SHOW!
Above and beyond my highest expectations.
A pity the room wasn’t sold out;
there’s no accounting for taste I guess.
If ever you get the opportunity to catch The Waterboys doing their thing, do NOT pass it up.
Given the meagre size of the crowd many an artist would have just mailed it in and been done with it. After having seen Michael Scott and his superb band for the first time , I’ve come to the conclusion that mailing it in isn’t Michael Scott’s DNA.
My sincere thanks to The Waterboys for a most memorable, evening of audio entertainment. (Some pretty slick duds too gents!)
The openers were pretty great, however they said the concert would start at 7 and didn't start til sometime after 8. When Cuco made his appearance, however, he wasn't quite singing to the crowd, he was singing towards the wall. All in all, I'm still very glad I got to see him preform live, he is an amazing person to go see
Pinegrove is one of the best live music experiences out there right now. Their dynamics, tempo changes and flawless execution of their set is impressive. They aren't out here playing their songs exactly as you've heard them on the records - but creating new ways to experience them, often with more energy. Don't miss out.
