The show was GREAT! Hard to believe that we were seeing him in person. Now we have heard both Donny AND Any Williams sing Moon River live (Andy back in 1998).
Ovens Auditorium has great sightlines, but the room was very warm, and the sound was incredibly loud! We saw Weird Al there several years ago, and the sound was the same. Come on crew, you don't have to blast everyone out for every show.
All told, an experience we would not want to have missed.
The show was fantastic!!!! Derek and Hayley did a wonderful show and other performers did wonderful to!!!! I loved ebery second of it. I know want to watch it all again
AFL was great! Loved the great mix of his hits and the ones for us 50+ year olds! A little bit of Prince to Alanis, yes I said Alanis! Loved this gun toting, God-fearing, Son of a Bitch!
Absolutely beautiful show! Such a special night as this tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of Celtic Woman! They performed a lot of old favorites, a few surprises and a few new! There was so much dancing and the show was just incredibly upbeat. Loved every minute! The girls-Mairéad, Emma, Tara, and Muirgen-are really a wonderful group and perform so well together!
Great show, Shane had everybody going wild and he managed the rowdy audience. The openers were all good, Nate Marshall is a great warm up and Charles Blizz was hysterical.
The parking was a nightmare and not handled well at all. They need way more organization and more actual police to direct the traffic. You are in line to get into the venue while to the right is an off ramp merging in, and then in front and also to the left are Uber drivers aggressively turning into the line then stopping to pick up people, making the line not move at all and a lot of close calls. Not to mention there are people walking through the cars to get in Ubers stopping in traffic to the left with cars whizzing by them. I don't even work in the field but could give you ten different ways to fix all this to avoid a wreck or pedestrian getting hit, which is inevitable.
Uber drivers need a dedicated pick up and drop off area that is both marked, enforced, and safer. The venue leaves the entirety of the flow of traffic for you, the paying event goer, up to one guy with a flashlight at the head of the line waving you in to a small side street. Meanwhile, the traffic from the first show is also leaving. So instead of able to park, you're fighting to get through all this just to get to the lot. Overall this could have been a better experience with some smarter traffic and crowd management from the city and venue.
The show was excellent though, the audio, lighting, performers, etc were all great.
The venue is extremely nice other than the 1949 children's auditorium sized seats. I'm from out of town, so I doubt I'd go to the venue again based on the seats alone, my (and every other normal height guys') knees were crammed against the wood of the chair in front of me the whole show. Luckily people getting beer every 5 minutes and made the row stand up and all file out into the aisle (because there is zero room to pass).
The performers were a 10/10, the venue experience was pretty mid.
Fantastic! Amazing how they have keep the great sound over the past 50 years. They never deviate from their roots!. Great to have Phil on drums in the second half or the show!
It was the best first concert I have ever been to. Becky was amazing she put on an amazing show would totally go to another concert when she’s back in clt💖.
Seal, Trevor, and their band put on the most excellent performance to celebrate their life's work and made dreams come true that night. They were in top form, as good as they've ever been. My issue is with staff. While all very kind, they allowed adults who were seated way behind us to stand in front of me and my family in empty seats, forcing us to stand too. I brought my children, for whom seeing was then a challenge for them at that point. This was toward the end of the show that they literally ushered these folks in front of us. What did I pay for these tickets for, then? I came from 3 states away and bought 6 tickets just to see this, just so a few presumably tipsy locals who paid a fraction of what I did and came here as a lark could obstruct our view? Pathetic! I waited my whole life to see Seal. Give me a break. My advice? If you're getting a seat in the mezzanine balcony area, select the AA seats, on the aisle (for easy in and out). We had CC. If you get AA, no one can stand in front of you, plus you'll have the ledge as a table. Ovens Auditorium needs to train their staff to look out for all their paying patrons and not show too much of that Southern hospitality to the detriment of others.
Seal is the best performance I have seen in a long time. He gives you your money worth and more. His band are the best. Thank you Seal for a good time the other night and May God bless you on your World Tour.
Seal was amazing. I didn't have any expectations and he was just incredible. He is so open and humble and inclusive. I left feeling that we had all connected and experience something spiritual.
This show was awesome! Wage War had a solid set and ADTR is always fun. The acoustic setup made for lots of in between songs banter and the intimate venue was a nice touch. Great show
Venue was very easy and convenient. Parking was free and right across the street. The performance was AWESOME, and well worth the money. The opening comedian was a perfect choice, and Taylor never disappoints.
Loved it she put on a heck of a show. Hopefully she’ll come back this year or next year. She’s currently my top 5 in today’s comedian world !
Overall strong rock show with Daughtry and Pop-Evil opening up.
There seriously wasn’t a bad seat to be had, and with it being my first time at this venue, I was impressed by that. Ill add that concession prices were also competitive.
Pop-Evil was a great opening band to prime the audience on what kind of material to expect from the headliner later in the show. They were interactive with the crowd and their fan base showed up for them. Even when technical problems arose, the singer went a cappella without missing a beat. Very entertaining.
I’ve seen Daughtry 4 times now, and this was the heaviest they’ve played that I’ve witnessed. It was a “Dearly Beloved” centric show with a sprinkling of the old stuff as well as acoustic material.
Casual fans probably weren’t ready, but the hardcore fans were. 5 out of 5.
He was good, not as funny as in the past. We laughed, yes, but not as often or as hard. He said this is the final tour & he is retiring, and he looks like MOSES OR ALBERTEINSTEIN- SO- IF you want to see him again, better get your butt there. If you are a fan GO.
Oh my goodness, this show was lit and way better than I anticipated. Charlie Wilson did his thing and didn’t disappoint. He engages with his audience and I am truly looking forward to his next concert. Oh, his opening act MC Lightfoot set it off with his opening act as well. Rating this entire show from a 1-10 would be an understatement. It was off the charts❣️
First time I ever heard her live! My fiancé got us tickets as an early Christmas gift. I was especially pleased with the venue staff. I am a Type1 diabetic and I had water/medicine with me. They were so nice!
I loved the dancers too! They came out before the show to energize and interact with the audience and I got a picture with two of them! They’re so funny and sweet! I even showed them a picture I made for Lindsey and they loved it! Really wanted to meet Lindsey but dancers were good enough and close as can be!
One of the best bands I have seen in a long time! The amount of talent is surpassed only by their gracious down to earth nature. Love these guys!
I was Home Free in concert tonight. It was my first time seeing them in concert. It was awesome. I can say I will be seeing them again.
Had a wonderful time in the Meet and Greet. Unfortunately between getting the back plate of my Majesty signed by John Petrucci and the start of the show, my back plate turned up missing. Didn't realize it until after the show as we were going through our items at the car after the show, to make sure nothing was missing.
