Some of my favorite nights have been the ones I didn't plan and are the nights I last minute got a ticket to a show to see an artist I know I like. William Black was awesome. He absolutely threw down but also gave the pretty melodic songs their time to shine and be sung to. Much love, I had such a good time.
Sadly this is the second show at echostage I'm giving 5 stars but was not actually at. Last time was.. WILDly.. different circumstances, but am equally passionate about as far as artists and my disappointment in not being able to see again. I just seriously cannot give enough praise to Big Wild. Honestly, Jackson Snell, the last time I was this impressed (Live) by a single musician was Phil Collins. And the fact that you also have those Enya vibe vocal harmony moments is ethereal and magical. Enya is my zen happy place and if you aren't intentionally channeling her at certain moments of your songs... don't stop what you're doing. I wish so badly I was able to make it to this show tonight and am mad at myself for not just taking the whole week off and calling it one Big Wild Week. Alas, I did not and can only send out this message to Big Wild to please come back to the Philly area. I don't do social media, and bandsintown is the only platform I use that has posting ability, so this is why the long message and rating of a show I regretfully didn't attend.
This was an amazing performance! I’ll definitely be seeing Smino again in concert. I’ve been a listener for years but last night turned me into a supporter forever! His storytelling, stage presence, talent, and musicality shined.
I truly wish this rating was based on and paired with a recount of the amazing show I saw. I soul crushingly, was last minute unable to make it to DC from DE. I was all set and beyond excited to get to put on my purple skeleton outfit and lose myself in a Deathpact trance, but tires and cold weather can be a S.O.B. when least expected, and there is no way I was riding a spare to and from DE to DC. Regardless, I am giving a 5 stars rating, bc I know without a shadow of a doubt that they absolutely crushed it. Based on the rabbit hole I've been down since September and what I honestly consider to be one of the best sets I have experienced at Hijinx, I know this show could not have disappointed. I actually shed some tears over this miss, and not even a little bit because of the loss of money spent on a show that I didn't make it to and the tires I didn't expect to have to replace the Monday after. Deathpact ... if you can ... hear my plea, please come back to the Philly area.
It was great, Chief Keef brought out Lil Gnar for the opener, Fat Trel, and nearly if not all of the members of Glo Gang. He played great tracks and let his members shine which was great to see, bangin energy.
I looooooove Ellise music. I think she is so underrated in pop punk. She deserves so much more recognition. I’m so happy that Madison picked her to be an opener. This was my 1st time seeing Ellise live. Now I want her to have her own headline tour lol. Ellise did such an amazing job as the opener. She definitely brought in all the energy to start off the night. She had the audience attention. I really hope by her being one of the openers it opened up the minds of Madison’s fans to go and check her out. You won’t be disappointed with Ellise music catalog!
This was my 1st time seeing Madison live. It also was my 1st concert of 2024!!! This was definitely the best show to start the year off with. Not so great of a venue but Madison put on an amazing show so that made up for the horrible venue choice. Madison is so bubbly and down to earth. She makes sure that the audience is comfortable and she puts on a good show. I definitely enjoyed myself… screaming dancing and singing along the entire night. I’d 10/10 recommend attending a Madison Beer show.
Afrojack is my favorite artist and I've been waiting many years for a chance to see him. The show was absolutely amazing and had one of the best times if my life! I am definitely catching his shows everytime he's in town! Can't wait for the next show in DC!
That is my second time seeing the Queen of Deep House and she never disappoints!! She played her music with such a good energy that took me to darker realms with intricate instrumentals and enlightening melodies.
Also Echostage changed the layout to in the round, which made you feel more close with the DJs & lMUSIC!! I absolutely love the new vibe
Word to thw wise.....Never stand in front of thw speaker! Body vibrating and heart popped out my chest a few times. I survived "Club Shelter" in NYC back in the day, but newbies please beware. Lol #Enjoy
Gave me goosebumps the whole show. This was seriously the most amazing concert I've been to the past couple years. Incredible energy and chill a*s fans. Can't wait to see them perform again.
My 23 year old daughter only asked for the meet and greet for Christmas. This is the girl who asks for everything and sends pictures of everything that she sees and says she wants it for Christmas. I spent $262 and she bawled when she opened it Christmas morning. She was happier than I've seen her in years. I understand Sullivan King had been sick but if he could do the show, I don't understand why he couldn't meet with them for even 20 minutes. I'm not mad but I'm so upset for her. She cried when she found out he'd cancelled it. PLEASE, tell me that there is someway that she can meet him the next time he's on the east coast. Or a FaceTime would even work. She loved the gear but is still heartbroken. That Sunday, April 23, was her birthday and it was going to be the best day for her. She isn't one of those girls who just wants him, the man. She loves his work and says his shows are the best. I'm not sure how many she's been to. Please help me make my daughter the happiest girl ever!
I never did get the $20 refund that we were told that we'd get either. Please do something for her.
She put on an AMAZING show! The band, background singers and audio were all on point. Let’s not forget to mention she sounds phenomenal live! I fully enjoyed myself ❤️
I had a great time at the concert! The performers did an excellent job. Security made sure that everyone was safe. I also loved the meet and greet, Artist is such a genuine person!
I have super sensitive hearing and it was LOUD guys. And I mean LOUD. My whole body was shaking from the bass and my ears constantly were hearing that noise that happens when two microphones get too close together. All of them are super talented though and everyone had very good energy!!
This show was beautiful. Best rave I’ve been to in a while. The lights, the bass, the visuals. This mans Good! And the space/crowd was great as well. Not too crowded had space to dance. Will def see him again. He popped my loving a rave show cherry.
It was good. The only thing was the concert was supposed to start at 8 but we stood there until around 9:40 listening to a DJ. And then he walked off stage mid performance and the DJ started playing again. Altogether though, it was a great concert. His concert from the Life’s A Trip tour in 2019 at the fillmore was much better. He seemed more into it then.
I’ve seen rezz three times before and this was hands down her BEST show I’ve ever seen. She played a different set than normal. More wubby heavier tracks that melted my brain. her visuals were UNREAL. I was mesmerized for the whole set. AMAZING
It was one of the best Night i could ever ask for. Mostly after getting out of work and arriving almost 2 hours before the show started. All I can say is $uicideboy$ Thank you again for coming also Thank you to Echostage for having them and we all hope we can see the $uicideboy$ once again
And hopefully there next show can last until midnight.
one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to. energy was crazy. the venue had convenient access to free water and a space we could go outside while still having access to reenter. the artists got the crowd so hyped up like i’ve never seen before
