It Started At The Gym

These four friends gathered up around 2011 in Tours (France) in an old gym, playing their hearts off like nuts, founding the band name they used since then: IT STARTED AT THE GYM. Their influences come from mostly American and English bands, from early 2000’s pop punk, to late 2015’s post hardcore . Playing along with bands such as The Maddigans, Forest Pooky, An Escape for Louie, The Helltons, Maladroit, Mary Has a Gun, Holding Sand… the group made their way playing both acoustic and electric shows, playing out their first Ep “GET READY FOR THE FIGHT”. Though ISATG has had a few changes in their line-up, the songs grew as strong as they should be, thanks to former members and friends: Richard and Romain. Right now, the band’s recording, mixing, tracking and training… to bring up a whole new feel, with their future full length home-made album, “MAKE A DIFFERENCE” out soon in 2016! 2K17 => a whole lot of new stuff !
