Psychocandy

Psychocandy are three suburban boys - Philip, George and Tom. Borned and raised in gray East European block of flats (panelaks). Instead of hanging around panelaks, smoking weed on parking lots and living a whole life five meters from the place where they were born, they formed a band in 2013. And now they hang out at gas stations, music clubs and smoke weed on parking lots. Oh yeah and play music. Psychocandy sound like Pixies raw guitar sound meets Joy Division post-punk bass lines, with two dreamy vocals. Each song is a bit different sometimes pop and sweet, sometimes dirty and heavy. Each year of their existence, they have released an EP recorded live mostly in a garage. The last one called Kings of Maybe was voted the 17. best record of 2015 by the Full Moon Magazine. Last summer Psychocandy embarked on a tour spanning from west border of the Czech republic to the east border of Slovakia playing in various central Europe cities in between, including Hungarian capital Budapest. The key to the popularity of Psychocandy is the factor that so many bands lack these days – authenticity. Tom, Philip and George. None of them is a extraordinary instrumentalist, but they are a gang of three childhood friends that didn't give up on a dream. Currently working on a fourth record in proper studio.
