Theresa Zaizar - Lead Vocals Theresa has been singing as long as she can remember. Coming from a musical family, daughter of the late El Rey Del Falsete, David Zaizar. Originally from the O.C. in Southern California she moved to Oklahoma in 2004. Although raised in the U.S., she remains honorable to her heritage and includes some Latin tunes in her music. She has had the honor of opening for Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh and has shared the stage with countless top artists. Her performances are always seasoned with veteran musicians that deliver a professional sound that keeps you wanting more. Carl Moore - Piano, Vocals Oklahoma native, Carl Victor Moore, began playing piano at 13 promptly alarming neighbors and sickening relatives. Fortunately, the family moved around...a lot. To no ones’ surprise the next few years were a procession of steps in the ‘Crazy Dance’. Attending the University of California at Santa Cruz and abandoning it for a full time career in music. Touring the US, Canada and Mexico led him to Tokyo Japan flailing about with the likes of Chuck Berry and Janet Jackson. Carl was taken under the wing of several great and giving artist’s, Bobby Watson, Phylliss Hyman and Paul Jackson Sr., we hope he has learned their lessons well.....but you'll have to be the judge...Carl persists in producing recordings despite all advice to the contrary. Mel Roberts - Bass Mel is an Oklahoma City native who likes to claim he’s from Sweden because it sounds exotic. He has always enjoyed singing, playing with Barbie dolls, writing songs, basket weaving and producing music since he was a child. In his youth….many many many years ago, Mel formed various bands and traveled and sang locally. They didn’t last long due to his growing Diva status. Early influences were Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Tiny Tim, Prince, Michael Jackson and Liberace. Especially the flashy outfits. As the owner/operator of Profacy (pronounced Prophecy) Productions, Mel enjoys recording various bands and solo acts in his studio. You can usually catch him recording himself in the wee hours of the morning to the background track…."You’re Having my Baby" originally recorded by Paul Anka. While on scholarship at UCO, Mel played in the UCO group, the Tunesmiths. Mel’s training includes Degrees in Psychology, General Education, Iceberg Moving, Audio/Video production, Applied Science, his favorite…professional cuddler and a minor in Communication. Mel just recently began playing bass guitar with the phenomenal group Amante. He may or may not have realized what he’s gotten himself into…. Mike Ragland - Drums, Vocals Born in New Orleans, Mike’s first influences were the Crescent City’s music and the Stax and Motown 45s his mother would bring home and play for him. In fact, he still claims that Dr. John is his father and to this day, he breaks into a cold sweat when he sees crab cakes or a picture of Drew Brees. Second line and syncopated rhythms are heard throughout his grooves. Luckily, he was relocated to the Red Dirt Promised Land of Oklahoma, where he spent his formative years – performing in his first a club at 15, playing on his first record at 16, and earning a Minor in Music from the University of Oklahoma. Since then, he has toured with some of the biggest names in Country Music, recorded and played with Soul, R&B, Jazz, and Gospel artists across the U.S. and Canada.
