Celebrate the music and legacy of Tom Petty at Sun Radio’s Tom Petty Tribute Concert on Sunday, October 18, at 5 PM at Hotel Ella in Austin. Join us for an evening of Petty favorites featuring the Damn Torpedoes backing an incredible lineup of special guests: Carolyn Wonderland, Shelley King, Jonathan Tyler, Eve Monsees, Ben Jones, Monte Warden, Suzanna Choffel, Graham Weber of Restos, Patricia Vaughn, Nakia, and a special guest. This concert is a fundraiser supporting Sun Radio and our mission to preserve Texas music heritage with minimal environmental impact. We’ll also be giving away a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Origins 1971–1978 five-LP vinyl box set to a donor on Sunday. Get your tickets and join us at Hotel Ella for a celebration of timeless songs and the artist who gave us so many reasons to turn up the radio. The celebration continues on Tuesday, October 20—Tom’s actual birthday—with wall-to-wall Petty music all day on Sun Radio.
