Midnight Strangers

Based in San Diego California, the Midnight Strangers is the dynamic indie rock vision of Chris Swimley, a multi-instrumentalist who single-handedly writes, performs, and produces every layer of his music. Channeling the gritty swagger of the Rolling Stones, the psychedelic fire of Jimi Hendrix, and the provocative presence of the Doors, Chris weaves influences from Arcade Fire, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the Dandy Warhols into a sound that’s raw, bold, and unmistakably his own. His debut album, Exit Door (released July 4, 2025), is a powerful showcase of driving riffs and introspective lyrics, blending raw energy with emotional depth. With a distinctive style that feels both timeless and fresh, Midnight Strangers is poised to make waves in the California indie rock scene.
