Mafalda Minnozzi

Italy, Brazil and NYC's favorite duo comes to The Jazz Loft for the 2026 John Monteleone "Art Of The Guitar" Festival. Over three days of concerts, demonstrations, exhibits and workshops, the festival celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship of the guitar. It is named for legendary master luthier John Monteleone, one of the finest living makers of archtop guitars and mandolins. Paul Ricci plays electric and acoustic guitars alongside vocalist Mafalda Minnozzi. Their repertoire is rooted in the Italian, Brazilian, French and American songbooks, always embracing their multicultural influences from around the world. Mafalda and Paul share a long bond with John Monteleone's world. Paul plays his own Monteleone archtop, and both appear in the documentary "John Monteleone – The Chisels Are Calling." Mafalda's latest album, RIOFONIC, recorded in Rio with Roberto Menescal, Jaques Morelenbaum and Kassin, was the #1 most-played female vocal album on the 2025 JazzWeek year-end chart. The festival also features Jocelyn Gould, Ted Ludwig, The Tonebars, G.E. Smith and Antoine Boyer & Yeore Kim, along with a gallery of iconic and historic guitars. 🇮🇹🇧🇷🗽🎸
