Mafalda Minnozzi

Mafalda Minnozzi returns to Pangea after packing the house in March. Joined by her longtime musical partner and guitarist Paul Ricci, fresh off their appearance at the New York Cabaret Convention at the Rose Theater, Mafalda presents "Voci di Donne - Dive" — a tribute to the women who forever changed the way we sing about love, longing, and freedom. The journey begins in Rio de Janeiro with the Bossa nova and saudade of Elis Regina and Astrud Gilberto, moves to Paris with Édith Piaf and Dalida, beats in Naples and Italy with Mina, Ornella Vanoni, and Edda Dell'Orso, and ends in New York with Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Diana Krall. Between songs, Mafalda shares the stories of these extraordinary women and weaves them with her own, bringing forty years of music-making across Italy, Brazil, and the United States. Paul Ricci is a guitarist, arranger, and producer who has been by her side for thirty years. American audiences know Mafalda through leading jazz radio stations such as WBGO, KUVO, WUCF, and KJAZ. Her latest album, Riofonic, was recorded in Rio with legends Roberto Menescal, Jaques Morelenbaum, and Kassin. She was the highest-ranked female vocalist on the year-end 2025 JazzWeek USA radio chart. 'Minnozzi is boundlessly expressive, connecting to each lyric viscerally, regardless of language.' – David Adler (JazzTimes) Venue details: All Sales Are Final. No Refunds.
