David Cordero

David Cordero is a Spanish composer, producer and sound artist whose work explores the delicate relationship between sound, space and silence. For more than two decades, he has developed a distinctive approach to contemporary ambient music, bringing together electronics, acoustic instruments and field recordings in a deeply compositional way.

His music has been released by some of the most respected labels in the international ambient scene, and his work includes collaborations with artists from different countries, as well as compositions for films, documentaries and art installations.

Alongside his work as a composer and performer, David runs Noray Records, an independent label dedicated to releasing music by artists who share a similar sensitivity towards sound, texture and space.

His music is defined by a careful attention to timbre, texture, resonance and silence, creating intimate and contemplative sound worlds where every element has its place.
